I smell a rat and I can’t understand why these motors are being replaced rather than just a sensor or sensor cable. Hi there, it might seem unusual given I purchased a mechanical PL Carbon, but has anyone had any issues with replacing rear derailleur with sram eagle GX T type? (obviously swapping chain and mech shifters). Is it just a case of removing old hanger and fitting T type?

Thanks, I’ll await any further advice from others before jumping into buying a new cassette. Apparently XD freehubs are in the order of AUD70, but that of course assumes you might be swapping like for like, as you say, not sure if you can do an automatic swap for the HG free hub body.
