I have had a Levo and a Levo SL. First the Levo for 2 years then a Levo SL for 2 years. I have no idea of your weight, but for a smaller rider the Levo SL has power to spare. I can ride the Levo SL faster than the Levo on trails because I can handle the weight. I am 115 on a heavy day and have...
On the Fuel EX-E you may feel this with acceleration set at max, this is what I found. Setting acceleration to the middle absolutely no feeling of shutting on and off, just smooth assistance.
The XS is available in Salt Lake and New Mexico. But remember this is the aluminum model. Carbon is small and up. You could easily build a carbon small with 27.5 wheels at 36 lbs.
Specialized dealers are being very cautious about “ordering “ but an option is to search on the specialized site and call the dealers with them in stock and ask them to ship it to your local dealer. Specialized allows this.
Maybe the best option is to get a small and put some 27.5 wheels on it and reduce the front fork to 140. The Levo SL could handle 27.5 x 2.8 tires, heck I sometimes ride my small with 27.5 x 3.0. Put a one up dropper on it and shim it so the collar is at the seat tube collar, when she is in a...
Do you mean an app like Mission Control for Specialized bikes or Belevo? I think the new TCU of the Specialize bikes lets you change assist right there also. But maybe this is not what you are talking about, sorry if I am confused.
I agree that assistance can be confusing because Specialize uses a 1-100% scale for a more that gives you 1-200% assistance. So as mentioned before 50% assistance is a 1:1 assistance, 1 watt motor 1 watt you.
Enjoy your bike!
In Mission Control you set Assistance AND Peak power. Assistance is the percentage of your effort it will give you (50% is 1:1 match, 100% is 2 motor:1 you). Peak power is how many watts the motor can give you at your set assistance. The motor can give 250 watts but the peak power can be set to...
I will check on my Garmin tomorrow and get you distances elevation. I am thinking when I go 25 miles 2500 feet I use about 50% of the main battery. My setting are typically 25/100 30/100 45/100. I ride eco with a little trail. I will get the exact numbers for you though. Today on the creo bike...
Range is not an issue. In my experience I get about the same range as a levo with a 500w battery and with the range extender it is similar to the range of the 700w battery. You will go slower up on the SL but range is very similar. I often put the range extender on for longer rides, say 35+...
