Ye Yep only swapped the stem, dropper and rear wheel. The dropper and stem were a POS, the rear wheel was my preference for mullet configuration.

Depends if you want the added extras that come with the pro. Carbon wheels, electronic dropper, shifter etc. If you are going to swap out those components than buy the base. The black looks better than the silver IMHO but couldn't justify the cost just for the colourway alone.

I'm 110kg and I don't get it skipping gears but I feel the flex when driving through the pedals with the bike leaned. I also lubed and re-torqued all the Pivot bolts and the cracking went away, I still get the odd sound but I think it's the frame flexing.

When they replaced mine they couldn't get the sight vlt chain stay so they gave me a different model which was for a 29er, it lowered the bottom bracket by about 20mm and I was pedal striking everything. I sold the bike not long after. I loved my sight even though it was a bit small.

I broke my chain stays too. Turn the aluminium on both sides. Must be made of cheese

I actually wouldn't be surprised if the amflow slowly fades into obscurity while other manufacturers take on the avinox motor. Let the bike manufacturers that know how to make bikes make the bikes and let dji concentrate on the motor, software and battery Tech.
