I got the custom 410wh battery, which sounds fine compared to the competition, but I ride at 5am and on my natural bike I like to do at least 2,400 feet of climbing, sometimes over 3,000. I was hoping to go even bigger on an ebike, but this motor in B mode reports a consistent 580+ watts, so if...
My proposal is to leave the frame completely unmodified, and the auxiliary battery would connect directly to the charging port, which is again unmodified, so the power goes into the main battery.
I've tested mine with the supplied charger, the motor still turns on and runs when external power...
So this morning on my ride the pivot came loose and I lost all pivot hardware for the drive side rear chainstay pivot (the Horst link). Do I have to order a replacement all the way from China or are there Ace Hardware store solutions?
I'm no electrical engineer, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Wouldn't it be easier to just find an aliexpress water bottle battery that outputs under 50v peak, and just plug it straight into the stock DC barrel plug instead of attempting to power the motor directly with an auxiliary...
Personally, I've had several bolts come loose- the motor mounts and the driveside rear chainstay pivot, which I lost this morning. Anyone know of how to get a replacement?

First off, I love my CEF50:
Of course this frame isn't perfect, headset routing sucks, I had to dremel a pit in the carbon to allow for the Cane Creek to fit, etc. However, the entire build including frame, motor, and battery is about $3k for me so thats not too bad, especially for a total...
So according to this guy,
Light Carbon with Bafang M800 ,
LG 18650 cells have a nominal voltage of 3.7v, but a peak of 4.2v when fully charged. Do your 21700 cells stay close to 3.7v even when fully charged?
Hi everyone! I welded up a frame that I want to be dual purpose analog/ebike SL, and so I have an adapter for a trad bottom bracket or a mount for a Bafang m810.
I need to build a DIY battery that can fit in the downtube, which is 48mm inner diameter. 4 18650s should fit, and that would require...
Thanks, mine are the TRP rotors that are thicker than most. I just clamped it in there. We'll see how well it holds or if I get an error 21 in the middle of a ride...
