Dropper post fitting for Focus Thron2 6.7

BTW what are the torque settings for the motor bolts? I’ve not torqued them down yet as I’ll be fitting (or trying to fit) the cable in the next couple of days.

Dropper post fitting for Focus Thron2 6.7

Thanks GrahamPaul, I did wonder about the Torx bits. I’ve got a decent set of bits, but like you I found the motor bolts odd - almost like it was inbetween sizes. I persisted for better or worse and the bolts look a bit worse for wear - hope I don’t have a warranty claim! I put a bit of wire...

Dropper post fitting for Focus Thron2 6.7

My Thron 6.7 arrived today. I was originally going for a 6.9 from discount-bike.de but I was too late (5 weeks ago stock was disappearing online before your eyes). Anyone know what this this rounded allen bolt on my brand new bike does?

I‘m waiting for my Thron 6.7 from bike- discount.de. Its been 3 weeks since I ordered (2 actually - one for wife). Hoping they dispatch soon, but I’m being patient because the saving on the same bike in the UK is over £1,000 per bike! I like to support my LBS for spares, servicing, tyres...

Hi z1ppy, thanks for that. I’ve actually decided to cancel the Jam 9.8 Nine largely because of battery issues. I don’t need a carbon bike at my age. I was originally going for Focus Thron2 6.9 - great spec for the money, before I ordered the Jam. Trying to buy high value stuff from Germany is a...

    Chargers for Jam

Just joined up (see my newbie intro). Do Focus sell a rapid charger for the Tec Pack size batteries (internal and external)? I can’t see anything on their website. So I assume you just get the standard charger with the bike.

E- bike newbie here - well not quite!

Hi everyone, just to introduce myself. I’m an old guy who started MTB’ing back in the mid 80’s with a Breezer Storm. I came from being a roadie with a Pennine race bike I had built for me and a Saracen tourer. But I got the bug and far prefer being off road these days with all the traffic and...
