Anybody tried Spank Spoon mountain bike bars?

I currently have a set of spank spoon high rise bars. Needed a riser to sit more upright as I have core issues. They do the job for me on a varied mix of terrain and for me they're more 'comfortable' than the original bars on my Whyte e160.

    Another 'sort of' tubeless question

Hi all, I used to use the Maxxis High Rollers on my analogue and have bought a pair of High Roller II silkshield ebike tyres for the eeb (they were cheap so couldn't pass them up lol). I know these tyres are not listed as tubeless ready and I'd have no drama in running tubes, but wondered if...

eMtb weight and lower back ?

I also have a weak lower back from an old injury, along with cartilage degeneration between c5 - c7 in my upper spine which has left me with regular 'grief' and limited feeling in my right hand. My ebike has given me a new lease of life. I really don't notice any trouble with my lower back while...

Has your EMTB made you fitter, or kept you as fit, as your regular MTB?

Fitter for me. Lower back and knee problems would leave me needing to lie prone for an hour or so after a 15 mile ride on the analogue to stop my back spasms. I can go as far as the range allows on the e160 (longest so far 45 miles) and am getting out 2-3 times a week for 20 -30 mile rides. 10...

    Is battery removal realy difficult?

Been worried about this cold snap and the e160 living in the garage with only 1 ride in the last 2 weeks, so decided to take out the battery for the first time. Glad I did too. When I slid off the the battery cover, there was a screw there that shouldn't have been. One of the screws from the top...

Winter Ride Pictures and FUN put yours :)

Hovering around freezing at the moment with varying wind. The wind was negligible when I left the house, but gusting around 30 - 40 kmph where the pics were taken.

    Show us your Whyte bits

120 miles into eBiking and loving every second. Not needing to lie still for a couple of hours like I did after analogue rides to stop my back from twanging and knees singing ?

    Is battery removal realy difficult?

Just about got her to agree to a bike, I'll broach the leccy to the garage bit after the bike arrives ?

    Is battery removal realy difficult?

Thanks for that R120 I think I'll stick with it though as it looks even better 'in the flesh' than it does in the pics I've seen. I can always charge it from an extension to the garage or even in the house when the LHG is in work !

    Is battery removal realy difficult?

Quick addition, can you charge the battery off the bike ? May sound silly to you experienced owners, but this will be my first foray into the ebike world. Was going for a Cube but have fallen for the e-160S and without leccy in the garage will want to charge off the bike semi/regularly if possible.
