Mudhugger is the way to go and purely by coincidence, they have them for sale at Swinnerton Cycles at Cannock Chase (in case you're going at the weekend?).
The 'byepass' at Five ways takes you down to the fireroad where the 'Lower Cliff' finishes up but you can go back up instead and take in both Upper and Lower cliffs (M7 & M8). Did it last weekend and they weren't doing any work on there.
Picked it up at a bargain price after my LBS couldnt get the comp al i'd put a deposite on to work! Offered me a grand off the carbon version so I couldnt resist it. I have to say, since I sold my Commencial Meta 'analogue' bike, I haven't looked back. I just look forward to getting on the Levo...
