The tune is important and with fox suspension they have a lot of running changes over the years additionally to the individual tunes but in general the X2 damper should be better for aggressive riding than the grip damper.
With the exact apk file of the old mission control app you can retive a serial number that you also might be able to see on stickers on the motor. Some people on pedelecforum.de tied some internal changes to those numbers. So maybe search the forums here and there with those serial numbers. But...
Oof! So after the preemtive service the belt crapped out? Was it a new belt? From what I've read it's vital that the belt gets mounted correctly with the right tension of som spanner or something...
If you got a brand new motor (what did you pay?) then I wouldn't do any preemtive maintenance as...
Sounds a bit like the race motor from Bosch. The question would be if you can tune it down a bit vis the software to get to the sweet spot how it was before. You probably need to tinker with all the variables a bit.
I also see people regularly going into steep/technic uphills not in on the...
How much do you weigh? With loop out you mean the motor power isn't enough and you stall in the uphill and tip over/back?
Because as a light rider it's hard to imagine that a modern motor would be too weak in this scenario. My problem is that if it's steep and technical and I set the motor up...
What do you mean? Originally Specialized uses the fox bushings with the washers with the little knobs:

When it runs its a fine bike! Still one of the lightest and most silent full power enduros with a quickly removable battery. And with the cascade links it is a proper enduro.
I just wonder if the last firmware update is even worth the hassle bringing it to some dealer. I didn't even get a...
In case of a warranty claim with the motor do I contact a specialized dealer or can I contact one of the centers listed on your site in the EU? Because I bought my bike online and the retailer went bankrupt. I'm still inside the two year eu warranty.
Here the dayco belt and the corresponding...
The hardware updates to the motor were minimal including a tougher belt. But the reliability issues with the tougher belt didn't go away. They are still snapping. Just at a time when the bikes are out of warranty. I've read about Brise experimenting with stronger belts but I fear this didn't go...
Yeah, its just odd that the last updates for the Gen 3 they dropped OTA support. Which is really weird and backwards. The thing is after the belt fiasko there was talk about Brose continually updating the belt and so far with it being bought by Yamaha its kinda unclear how that plays out...
Yeah, will leave a sour taste if the Levo 4 will get future OTA updates while the Gen 3 needs to be dragged to a dealer. What kind of sense does that make apart from trying to milk legacy customers? Won't motivate me to buy another Levo apart from the mediocre successor...
Celcius. But it doesn't really matter because any battery will have greatly reduced performance in cold weather. You should notice it with phones etc. aswell.
It will be more noticeable the less good qualits and the older the cells are. And if the bms is conservative it will just deactivate...
