    Current Avinox batteries use an older 21700 LG 5000 mah cell. 20wh per cell. 600wh is 10s3p, 30cells at 20wh = 600wh. 36v. The packs are laid out in blocks of 6 cells stacked(2*3). With a custom battery using newer 6500mah cells in a 5 cell block Atherton's could do a ~720wh pack in a length...

    Did you run the full 50A 60V 3000w for extended periods of time? That is a considerable amount more than the rest of the unit would have been designed for. Time to pull it all apart and see what failed.

    If Avinox it's likely their own battery like Rotwild have done. 10s3p battery pack with a 6500mah 21700 cell will get them 700wh pack. This would fit in an roughly 60mm id round downtube. Length would be between the current 600wh and 800wh packs.

    There is no actual way to "have the same number of cells" in a 36v and 48v system. All 36v system will have 10sXp battery. The 48v will be 13sXp. 10s3p = 30 cells 13s3p = 39 cells No matter how you scale it they will never have the same number of cells regardless of WH's.

    The way the Avinox fanboys are fawning over rumours of changes it would make sense for DJI to have a shortened production cycle. Shorter lifespan than an iPhone and they seem eager to throw down to buy the new new. Gotta have that newest of new to show off at the trailhead.

    Is the Rocky Mountain Instinct SL the most overlooked bike in this conversation that kinda bridges the gap between SL and FF? They released a motor software update that gets 75nm and 700w. It's a 480wh battery and weight of around 20kg depending on parts spec.
