The battery in my bar mounted mini remote is basically dead - can this cause the motor to hiccup?

Since I did the latest update, I have been having power drop outs. Anyone else having this problem and/or know anything about it?

I have a Pivot Shuttle AM and I have dem'd the new Pivot SL AM - I've had a bunch of Santa Cruz bikes in my 30 years of riding and love them, but Pivots are next level.

@ yoterryh - Yeah, it does not surprise me that folks are uptight about e-bikes in Bend. There are a lot of type A endurance athletes/roadies/cross country riders that would likely take a dim view of e-bikes.
