This is the best you’re gonna get at night. There’s an Amflow tucked in behind the R as well. It’s going to interesting to test the all out back to back.
Just bought an R-Expert to pair with my regular S-Works Levo 4. I haven’t taken it out on the trail yet but I rode around the neighborhood and I noticed its speed and great rear suspension immediately. It gets up to speed quick and the rear suspension is very sensitive and active. I know it...
I think the new technology is great but we’re at a point where the bikes are making too much power. I live in California and e-bikes were gaining legitimacy and slowly started to be accepted by the forestry service. I fear we’re reaching power levels that will turn the tide in the opposite...
I pedal Amish bikes more than I pedal an ebike and I for sure don’t go all out every time I ride. I probably ride @ 80% most of the time and only turn it up when I feel like it. I coach the local high school team and sometimes the A group kids do require more effort to challenge but I’m in my...
I get what everybody’s saying….from all points of view. I think this new bike does in fact have a place in Specialized’s line up. I’m a coach for a high school MTB team. They only ride XC and I feel like my SWorks Gen4 Levo is totally wrong for training with the kids. My bone to pick with...
I gave up on getting a range extender a long time ago. I must be the only person on earth that likes the ride 60. Ive had 3 of them and no issues. The one in my Skitch is almost 2 years old and I haven’t had any problems whatsoever.
The issues with Treks side loading battery were really about the mechanism that held the battery. If it didn’t rattle or come out of adjustment….or didn’t need a key, nobody would have cared. You got me on the wireless remote but that’s an accessory that specialized could probably still add. The...
That’s fair. I don’t have any data either but that’s what the Specialized rep told me. That makes me think about something. I’ve actually ridden with our local Specialized rep, he’s in incredible shape and is a ripper…..the local Trek rep doesn’t look like he’s been on a bike in a long time...
I like your line of thinking, I was thinking the same thing, but after seeing your math, 3mm is not enough clearance. Between the tire deforming under load and debris getting caught, that sounds way too tight.
If we’re not talking about the new Gen4 stuff, why is there a Gen4 thread? I mean, we go could go back to talking about the Vala and Amflow….or the new Rail! Now, the new Rail, there’s a bike that barely has anything new to offer! Let’s talk about that instead!
I knew that someone would mention that! For some reason the Gen 3 only had hi/lo and steering angle cups. For whatever reason the Gen 3 didn’t have the flip chip in the shock. The Gen4 basically copied the new SLs layout.
Dude, I’m not sure about the saddle names but I have quite a few bikes and they all have the 3d printed pro power with mirror “whatever” saddles and while they are outrageously expense, they are worth every penny. Those new saddles are so comfortable! I was really happy that the bike came with...
I’m kind of surprised by some of these comments. I don’t know what people expect. While this bike is more of an evolution than revolution, it is very different from all the other Levos. More so than any generation of Levo.
This new chassis is way better than the other 3 generations. Not only is...
My Levo is here. I saw it. It’s very well packaged. The bike looks really good. I guess you could say it has a clean aesthetic. I got the glacial blue color way and it’s the type of paint that changes color depending on how the light reflects off it. I love the remote for the new Fox dropper...
