I took the motor out and gave it to a shop, they sent to shimano so I’m hoping they can replair or replace it.
In the meantime I’m taking the Motor out of my wife’s bike since she never rides it. Ha ha

I think it’s not the battery because i tried different batteries.
The display is working fine.

In the meantime I took the broken motor to the shop so they can plug it into the diagnostic thing.
Got my motor wet and it won’t work
It’s been a few weeks and it still not working.
Maybe I can try drying it out by keeping it near a heater vent….

I did it in the past but now I’m trying to do it again and i think im missing a step or something is stuck.
I got the crank arm off in the non-drive side but I can’t get the drive side crank off. I took off the dust cover...
Also- what kind of tire pressures are you running ?
I’m usually running lower pressures like 18/20
Sometimes lower since I don’t go that fast and conditions are loose and getting dry.
Yeah I noticed that also- theres a big Klunk when you shift.
Has anyone put a bashguard on?
I have a Oneup bashguard I could use bit I guess the e13 chainring is 38 tooth so the oneup bash isn’t compatible.
I smashed the chainring on a rock and broke a tooth so I’m going to replace it and hoping...

I don’t care that it will be slightly heavier but it should be more durable. If there is one that will work…..

Got a 27.5 2.4 big Betty super DH ultra soft and it was easy to install in the e2.
I’ve only ridden once on it so hard to tell but it feels very puncture resistant
Got a rear flat the other day and it’s tricky getting the axle threaded back onto the frame.
Seems like the holes don’t line up as precisely as my other bikes.

After tearing the side wall I’m ready to try a heavier casing.
Did you put that tire on the stock rim that came with the bike?
From what I read online maybe a narrower tire like a 2.4 isn’t a good fit for a wide rim like the stock one.
I have a tire question- ripped the sidewall on the rear tire and looking for a replacement.
It looks like maxxis DHR 27.5 2.8 tires don’t come in DD casing that i was hoping to get, only lighter casings.
