Have Avinox given us a good thing (or not)?

I don't own an emtb so I'm in no real position to comment but I will have one when funds and the time allows. I'd been set on a SL Bosch SX motored bike and still am in a way mainly as I'm not massively strong upper body wise and I'm massively unfit too but from what I've read so far, a full...

    What other bike options?

It gets a great review but it's expensive. Lot of bike though! There's a fair few bikes with the Bosch SX. Whyte do some as well. 👍

    What other bike options?

I don't own an emtb but plan to in the future. It's a real minefield and the new Avinox motor has blown the market wide open, their older motor was already plenty powerful enough from what I'd read but this new one is next level. I've posted this a few times but I'd seriously take a look at a...

    Lapierre thought?

I'm quite keen on the Lapierre Overvolt 6.7 TR as I doubt I'll be doing any Enduro/Heavy hitting terrain. Does anyone have an experience of this bike at all please? https://www.paulscycles.co.uk/bikes/electric-bikes/lapierre-overvolt-tr-67-electric-full-suspension-mountain-bike-in-grey__12915

Help choosing an eBike for £4K

I'd avoid the Shimano motor as they're prone to going bang. Other alternatives are Mondraker Crafty or Chaser Lapierre overvolt 7.8 or 7.7 I'd also be looking at the Orbea Wild ST

Lightweight full sus E-MTB recommendations under £3K?

It's a low torque figure but it might be fine for them plus you can add a range extender as well if needs be. There aren't many other options under their budget really. If it were me personally, I'd be all of over the Mondraker Sly R.

Lightweight full sus E-MTB recommendations under £3K?

That's where you're wrong actually. £2750 at the moment albeit in basic boggo spec, not the most powerful motor but probably fine for the OP and their needs. Trek Fuel EXe 5 2025 | Tredz Bikes Trek Fuel EXe 5 2025 | Tredz Bikes

Lightweight full sus E-MTB recommendations under £3K?

Fast forward to about 5 mins in and it shows just how powerful the SX motor is in comparison to a non emtb bike.

Or the Trek EXE 5 if going nearer 3k budget.

Lightweight full sus E-MTB recommendations under £3K?

The Mondraker sly r looks a brilliant bike at under 4k, Bosch SX motor and just under 21kg in weight, 160/150mm travel front and rear.

Help me decide - light eMTB

Is the Bosch SX as powerful as they say? I'm not a massively fit person but I'm put off by the idea of a heavier full fat bike and the SX motor appeals a lot more.

Help me decide - light eMTB

I don't own an EMTB and I'm in a similar situation as yourself. I have however done a lot of work reading and research on SL. To me the Motor in the TQ isn't powerful enough unless you're extremely fit. If it were me I'd be going Bosch SX and something like the Mondraker Sly R or the Marin Rift...
