Just took one for a ride and it’s pretty good. Definite motor improvement, handles very well and over all a great ride.
As always can’t make everyone happy. They will sell as they always do.

My findings (with all bikes in turbo), I found with the SL (both LSL and KSL) that the range was roughly comparable with 500w FF bike and with the Range extender comparable to a 625/700w ff. All times I had around 5% more than the others (bar the Shimano, that I had at least 15/20% more)

I personally found the 36 @180/29 to be a bit noodly. 170 really is the limit of these thinner tubed forks.
Brother runs his 29 EXT at 170 and it runs marginally better than my old set up.

I grabbed a rifle and sat on the bike as suggested and I felt it works fine. Line of site is fine once your sitting on the back tire.

Something like this could work.
You drop the seat, sit on the back tire while resting your chest on the seat. You then lift the gun out of the left hand mount, pivot the right hand mount and blast away.
Even more so for the KSL as you need to get to the top of big Mountains faster.
Levo’s on the other hand are just trail bikes and had enough power as they were.
