I’m sorry you guys are having that problem. There are obviously many trails in my area that don’t allow dirtbikes as well. Just making the point that all power levels can get along.
However, I already heard all these pearl clutching worries about e-bikes being too powerful (when compared to...
I’m riding hundreds of miles of the same single track trails on my Specialized Kenevo as I ride on my 250 pound, 65 horsepower, 70 mile per hour motocross dirtbike. The same trails I ride my Santa Cruz Nomad on. The same trails that get a ton of use by hikers and horse riders. Holy crap you...
The 35mm Boxxer on my Kenevo was the worst fork I've ever had. These forks bind excessively during compression and create a very harsh feel. Very happy with the hybrid coil with the 38mm Boxxer however.
My Kenevo was creaking horribly, and I was certain it was coming from the motor/crank area. Later I determined that the creaking was coming from the steering head. Re-greasing the bearings fixed the problem for almost a year, but it is slowing returning. At least I know how to resolve it.
I think I agree with this post more than any other in this thread.
I ride motorcross bikes off-road through the Rocky Mountains, and yes, they are rocky! My motorcross bike has full Factory Connection suspension and it is absolutely unbelievable. I could probably hit a fire hydrant at 35 MPH...
Just received this incredible, beefy, yet plush fork. I’ve only ridden it on bumpy, snow covered trails so far but I think this fork will be a huge win. The preload adjustable coil spring has a linear rate while the air chamber side is used to dial in the progression allowing for support on...
Ha ha, great photos. My derailleur ices over like that every time. I think I am going to try hosing the gears down with mold release to see if that helps.
For the last 10 years I've been riding my CRF511 about 50 hours per year and 1500 miles per year on the pedal bike (Santa Cruz Nomad).
Getting a Specialized Kenevo changed my dirt bike hours to 19 this year and pedal bike to 800 miles with about 1300 miles on my Kenevo.
Not going to give up my...
I use a 2000 Watt Wen generator when tent camping and a 190 Watt solar panel charging 2 interstate 6 volt batteries and a 1000 Watt inverter when trailer camping to charge my Kenevo and my wife's Levo.
