    MTB in Netherlands

Hi all, Question, possibly moving to Amsterdam, Netherlands in the near future and wondering if there is any point in taking my Specialised Levo across? Any decent trails trails/climbs? Or should I just trade it on a Diverge? Thanks, C.

    My Levo Leaning on Stuff

Cape Town, South Africa - Sunset overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Clifton beach (probably the most expensive piece of real estate on the African continent).

    Appreciate the response, thank you!

    New Mission Control features

Really poor from Specialized not to provide any instructions on these new features. Have trawled their site and other sites to get an idea of whats new and how they work. Would Garmin HR straps work?

What are you riding with - Flats vs Clips?

Interesting to see how many people ride flats, wasn’t expecting that.

    E-MTB isn’t cheating - research finding

What I find interesting about this study is they do not indicate the EMTB settings/assistance? This would play a major part in the testing and results. Good study nonetheless.

    E-MTB isn’t cheating - research finding

It's all nonsense, you want to cough blood when riding an EMTB, just lower the settings and ride harder. Haters gonna hate until they swing a leg over....... In South Africa, all big MTB races have an EMTB category, fairly acceptable norm here now.

Interesting that it looks like a steeper seat tube and head tube angle?

2019-2020 Levo (2020 Kenevo) Speed Unlock Levociraptor

Yes, you don’t need to do anything else. Just set to 3 and that’s it. To get accurate mileage, you would need to use BLEvo app or use garmin with GPS.

some issues with derestricted brose mag

The US 32kmh limit is perfect in my view, I do find the 25kmh a pain in the ass. I see no issue de-restricting a bike to 35kmh and have no doubt it won't have any negative impact on the motor.

    Wheelies

Thanks, I’ll try the wheelie then. Just doing it on grass now with sneakers as I have clips and don’t want to break anything. At our age takes a long time to heal! ;)

Helmet lights - what do you use for night time winter riding?

These are also very good, and for you pound/dollar based chaps fairly inexpensive. Bicycle Lights

moving from mtb to emtb .. my thoughts so far

It took a good while to make the change to EMTB and it has been a great move. Definitely riding more and having more fun, however, it has indirectly alienated a good few of my riding buddies that are still on normal pedal bikes. I agree with the rest, I couldn't give a flying f#$% what anyone...
