    Experimenting with Rear Hubs

I have build several sets of wheels using koozer hubs (mostly 450 and 455) they do not have easy life with me. They proven to be very good. Highly recomended. Regards

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

Rear end in CEF69 is not stiff at all. There is a good bit of the flex at the back stays. Hope new seatstay with bridge will be developed soon. That would be great improvement.

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

M820 - i think it is more efficient at lower powers (up to sport mode), let me say You would like to some very long mountain tours. There is more clunk noise coming from it. It is lighter to ride with drained battery. There is a nice fake taxi FW for it. M510 FC4.0 - very smooth, nice to ride...

    Poor man's CEF69 M510 FC4.0 with 1kWh battery

Going downhill motor is extremely quiet! IMHO it is due to tighter tolerances. Done a few kilometers today and only one used boost mode. Do I need more power ? I do not think so. I can always ramp up current limit and give it a try.

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

In order to solve ''not turning on 2nd time M820'' problem I have tried changing display, on/off switch and controller board from the motor itself. Somehow data is transferred/synced when You connect 1 new component. One of the forum members had exactly the same problem and mentioned that...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Had the same with M820 motor. IMHO some kind of firmware issue. Had to reconnect the power every time to ride the bike. Solution is simple. You have to ride the bike and drain the battery completely to 0% until the PAS is gone. Than leave the bike to turn off. Next day charge the bike and it...

    Poor man's CEF69 M510 FC4.0 with 1kWh battery

I got the motor with frame from SZZS maybe ill ask for 16A FW. But just in case my plan does not work I will need the stock firmware to have some kind of come back :D The sensor: - old - simple single magnet sensor - new - hall sensor with multi hole disc + some magic box Now the question is...

    Poor man's CEF69 M510 FC4.0 with 1kWh battery

Thanks I am 183cm tall, about 100kG kitted, inseam about 86cm. In L - frame You can slam 210mm oneup dropper post all the way in, but it ends up around charging port. I got L frame and it is just about right size for me, but was considering to get M. If You get M size frame, You can always...

    Poor man's CEF69 M510 FC4.0 with 1kWh battery

My battery percentage is controlled via BBR V2 device, so is motor FW independent. Below my sw Just wondering if I can upload 4816 RS firmware to it and run the motor on standard sensor? Does anyone have RS firmware ?

    Poor man's CEF69 M510 FC4.0 with 1kWh battery

I have prepared small DC-DC converters boards to run 25W me2000 LED lights. I can not live without anymore. Automatic mode can run either from bafang display or from headlight itself. No more worries about getting dark. Light is always on handlebar and always ready to go.
