I only mentioned Shimano and SRAM as they are the ones who will lose out if everyone is buying MGU bikes.
It’s an open secret that SRAM have a motor and Pinion (among others) may have just made it ‘old hat’ before it’s even hit the market.

It doesn’t make practical business sense for them…….
Less wear and tear = less consumables which = less £ for them.
The only way they will ever develop anything like this, is if someone else turns up with a fab product and it starts...

After watching Robs video on Pole bikes, I’m pretty sure if you called or emailed them they would make you a version with an MGU provided they could get one from Pinion.
I would guess, to make a product that can NOT be derestricted, would be commercial suicide.
We already know there will be a version that has a higher limit of 45kph so I imagine a simple software hack will suffice.
With all due respect sir, I believe you may be wrong on a few points......Many an E-Bike motor are geared so that the Chainring spins faster than pedal RPM. Also, it still has to transmit all that torque from the motor to the back wheel.

Yes the cable will fit.
I haven’t tried it connected with only one cable connected but should work.
Worst case, move it to “in line” if it doesn’t work.
If your display works, the EN’ should work.
I have a small, dual button controller on the left hand side of the bars between the grip and brake lever clamp. The cable is internally routed to into the frame and connects to the EN’ and then onto the motor.

I ended up in all sorts of trouble, couldn’t connect my watch, or my phone and somehow ended up on the Shimamo app to see if it would connect which updated the motor and now isn’t compatible with STUnlocker. So frustrating.
