How regularly would you put your E-ST900 in for a service? Not had mine serviced for a few years now, albeit it’s not been THAT heavily used recently.

Can I just confirm, with the 38T chainring on now, is that the original chain back on again, or the chain you put on when you moved to the 42T chainring?
In regards to swapping out the chainring, is it just a case of unbolting the pedal, then the 4 x Allen screws, then it’s just a straight swap? Does the chain need adjusting or is the diameter of the old and new chainrings exactly the same?
So, I managed to get the Torx screw out slightly, enough to allow me to slip a junior hacksaw in between the sensor and the frame and cut the screw off. Unless I can drill what remains of the screw out, then the sensor is never going back to its original location - unless I cable tie it, I...
attempted the hack this afternoon. Epic fail. Used a T20 torx screwdriver to remove the torx screw that holds in the sensor but it was driven in so tight I’ve damaged the screw when trying to unscrew it, and no way is it coming out now. In such an awkward, recessed spot too.
