Yes, and the new battery, in both sizes, is physically bigger than the pre-2019 battery so if the Ken is to get the 700Wh battery from the 2019 Levo (and why wouldn't it?), it'll need a new frame.
 
A racer-style e-bike? The climbs are the fun bit on those. Odd.

Perhaps for touring or health reasons yeah. But assisted road climbing?

maybe many buyers in the UK will be first timers trying to get into cycling.

bit of speed/squirt may give more confidence on the roads too, some car driver behaviour can be horrendous.

anyway it's interesting but off-topic for this thread.

I have a 19 Levo that came with a 500 watt battery standard

I purchased a 700 watt at same time and no new frame it just slides in

Yes it’s longer but fits

Again, yes. The 2019 Levo will take either the 500Wh or the 700Wh.

The Kenevo currently takes the same battery as the 2018 Levo. The 2019 Battery doesn't fit.
 
Well i just been talking to a guy that says he has fitted a 2019 700w battery in a 2018 levo. Says he will send me some pics. If he does i will post them

How’s that going to work then? I was under the impression that the electronics were also different. I thought the 2018 battery has the BMS, BT and motor electronics in it and the 2019 only has the BMS?
 
he fitted the tcu as well
 
I think I'm only one not happy about it, I have picked up my Turbo Levo Comp 2 days ago.... I should wait :(
 
I would not be too worried. Levo probably won't see any major changes until 2021. Until of course the 700wh battery makes it to the cheaper models, which I doubt.

But I'm very interested to see the new Kenevo.
 
I've been to test the Levo Comp this morning (only crashed once yay!). The dealer said not to expect any major changes to the Levo this year. 2020 bikes probably won't be available until next year anyway. So...I've gone for a large Levo Comp in Nice Blue. I just can't get over how good the bike is. Hills that have previously nearly ended me I glided up without even a rest. Absolutely astounding piece of kit.

Just screen-grabbed the Kenevo pic from the video a few pages back... I’m not an expert on Spec bikes, but under that low lighting it doesn’t look hugely different. Current bike?

Even if new Levo’s are announced soon they probably won’t be available for a while. In the mean time you’re enjoying your new bike. It doesn’t get worse because a new version is out :)
 
Yep does to me as well but hes an electronics guru so i guess he likes to do that stuff
 
Have you notice that by the past, Levo was shown to the press the... 15th of July? Quite funny, it can't be a coincidence!
