Hi all

Just accepted an offer on my old non electric Kona hardtail

Looking at getting myself an Ebike next

Ones that so far have caught my eye so far are the new SL Orbea Rise and a sale version of the trek fuel 9.7exe, rise seems a better bike but I like the removal battery of the trek idea.

I'm more leaning towards the lighter weight bikes so far.

I'm in Yorkshire, England

Cheers Matt

hi,
this thread might be useful in terms of what kind of bike you're after
personally I'm in the keep it light and poppy category and love my 23 Rise M10
there is a lot of enthusiasm for higher power motors - but there are light bikes using them
so don't necessarily rule them out over mid power motors.
also worth checking if you can do a fast charge - that negates the removable battery to a degree
you might find good discounts on '26 models without Avinox M2/M2S motors
because it's so popular.
If you do decide on lighter and discounted don't listen too much to the naysayers on the Shimano EP801 motor
