I hope Invisiframe or Ridewrap will have their protection kits ready soon to protect that precious "Royal Plum" on my Wild down to the last millimeter.

Looks so sick! This Thursday the 18th I'll finally be able to see a Wild M20 in that color in person!

Ridewrap already has the kits in stock. Have been available for a week or two now.

I think you guys are missing the point to some extent and falling into the power figures propaganda trap. Orbea haven't tried to limit the performance on the Avinox motor, the easy thing for them to do would have been to just slap the standard Avinox motor in and call it good but they've tried to improve the usable power of the motor with the RS software. From what I've heard through the trade the RS Avinox rides better in the real world than the standard DJI tune does. I've not ridden it yet but maybe wait and see what all the journos (who have already ridden the new bike) say about it before condemning Orbea based on paper specs.
Ya know how people are concerned about loosing trail access due to power/speed even though it hasn’t happened yet? Thats how I’m concerned about Orbea handicapping their Avinox.

I’m cautiously optimistic that Orbea won’t sabotage the new Wild. We’ll see.

I hadn't checked because I thought they weren't available yet.

If they are, I'll definitely buy the frame and fork kits now so I can install them as soon as my bike arrives and ride without worry!

I also hope it's easy to install; it'll be my first time. Up until now, I've used universal kits from Dyedbro.

This is getting very interesting and I hope availability is not an issue.
Unfortunately I think they are going to be quite hard to get hold of (initially at least). It sounds like DJI haven't got close to the scale of production of the Avinox system that they promised so all manufacturers that are using it are struggling to get hold of them for now. It'll hopefully be less of an issue as time goes on and DJI get their shit together.
Orbea told us that they'll be limiting the number of Wilds that individual shops can order so that there will be a better spread of bikes available in different places, not sure how long that policy will last though.

I’m pretty sure Orbea isn’t turning away any orders, but they will allocate the supply.

Whenever I’ve been managing a similar situation (in consumer electronics industry), dealers who ordered say 12 units might get 4; while dealers to ordered say 6 might get 2 from the initial shipments. Dealers who show more commitment rightfully earn additional allocations.

Often dealer allocations would be shaped by how supportive a dealer is generally. If I had a dealer who helped us move a bunch of Bosch Wilds sure as hell would earn more Avinox Wild allocations than a dealer who didn’t.

In my experience initial allocations, if not following allocations; are handled more like an art than a formulaic science. Eventually you will shift to first-in-first-out order processing; that’s exactly why confident dealers order say, 12 units when they’ll only get 4 initially. They want their backorders to be the oldest in the queue.

FYI - my dealer told me that all of the Orbea's are getting a 5% traffic tarrif tacked on. :(

i better don't comment on that. But i wish you good luck in getting rid of the idiots in charge...

@michel uit berg can you make a foto of the Hole in the Frame for cabel routing ? Is it for cable routing ?
I would prefer to put the brake hose through this hole and not the steering braket.

You can choose cable routing (headset or frame) so yes, it has holes (one in each side as always) in the frame
