I am in the process of building a 9100 XTR bike - since I am a "Shimano Guy" in a world of SRAM AXS EMTBs

Here's a few of mine, still got them and holding out hope for more use than they have had in the past few years. Planning a couple of trips where I'll be flying with a bike bag so the Deviate will be back in favour, actually just ordered a set of PNW 50mm risers for it. Also still own a XC bike, CX bike, fatbike and a singlespeed.

Love a spur just ordered the V2, i sold mine last year as needed the funds for a new build and immediately regretted it.

Its a cracking bike. Keeping an eye out for a 130-140mm Pike or Lyrik to swap out the 120mm SID.
I did alot of miles on the sid on my v1 but the temptation for a pike was always in my head. The new one comes with a fox 34sl and pretty much every build ive seen people have swapped it for the 36sl!

They're definitely idiosyncratic but everyone should own an On one at least once in my view. Mine is third choice now, can't be many 1x12, dropper post full carbon pub bikes around 😀

Couldn't find the awesome one, but here are some old pics I could find of the On-Ones. Off to hunt a picture of the of the missing one.

Double Dreds even....
Loved the geo on the acoustic version.
Not so much the suspension, but the geo is amazing.
Needed a coil to be tolerable, the claymore has much better rear end performance in comparison (other than it's tendency to stiffen up with rear brake application).
I think they were going for a high pivot that's poppy, and went a little too far that direction.
They nailed the dread-e though, outstanding geo, and outstanding kinematics.

Went for a ride out on my '16 enduro the other night, first time riding it again since I got my Whyte Kado in Jan which I've been riding 2-3 times a week, wow. No pictures at was absolutely hoying it down with rain on wednesday night.

Climbing wasn't as bad as I thought it would be despite the 11 speed 10-42t cassette but man the difference... 27.5" wheels, shorter stack, seat tube angle, head angle etc. Felt like riding a paperclip.
Was good fun but now I've got an itch to scratch to build up a more modern frame using whatever parts I can from the enduro, or modify the enduro with 29er pikes and 29er wheel upfront and see if that makes it more enjoyable, but it will still be slightly too small for me being 6ft 3 on an s4 frame..

Decisions decisions

My trusty 2018 Cotic RocketMax. Top pic was the old me. Bottom pick is the new unimproved model on my first time back in a bike in what felt like eternity.

Bikes are the best

Those 2 pics are worth a thousand words, but I am curious if you think ebikes are the best too? If so, what do you ride now?
I’ve not got an ebike yet. I’m expecting a bouncing baby levo 4 later this month. It’ll be my first. I’m guessing it’s gonna be really good fun, but I’ll update after I get the hang of it 🤣
