I’ve heard about layup and resin issues meaning the paint is more susceptible to chipping. It is affecting C1 more than C2, so interested to hear feedback on this forum. Currently my C2 range is holding up well… but it’s getting light use the season changes from winter to spring.

Hi All. Starting a thread for the new 2026 Norco Range VLT.
I have this bike on order from my local dealer in size 4. I'm 6'3" and 200lb. I struggled deciding between the Size 4 and 5, but similar to Rob Rides post on the Norco Sight BVLT sizing, I prefer a shorter seat tube and will manage the shorter reach with a longer stem if needed.
I currently ride a 2026 Santa Cruz Bullit (GX AXS build) and while I love this bike, I have a few reasons for moving to the Norco after only one season on the Bullit:
- I ride in the Rocky Mountains in Canada with lots of elevation gain on all rides and the 600WH internal battery on the Bullit is limiting with my typical 1.5-2hr rides predominantly using EMTB+ and tour modes (both custom tuned and 100Nm software upgrade).
- I plan to use the bike year round. WInters are very cold and snowy. While I won't ride in -30 celcius, I will head out for a ride in -10/-15 celcius. The Norco can fit 27.5x3" 45Nrth Wrathchild studded tires for riding in winter.
- I have a Bosch range extender and am excited to have 1,050WH of battery (800+250 RE) for some bigger backcountry and alpine missions.
- I've ordered the lower spec Norco Range C2 build and will swap ALL my parts from the Bullit to the Range. This allows me to upgrade all the components and sell the Bullit with new everything (apart from rear shock whcih will remain).
- Photos for reference include: Norco Range from Norco website, my current winter ride - Norco Torrent, Alpine riding with my old RAAW Madonna.

I'm keen to hear from others who have seen, ridden or have the bike on order!
Hey, when you've been frame sizes do you generally prefer to downsize? I'm 6'2" 210lbs and also on the fence between going sz4 or sz5. I'm currently on a XL Transition Relay pnw. Sadly no sz5 Sight/Range near me to demo.

i am 6'2", 182lbs , 34.5 inseam and ride the s4. Feels fine to me

i'm a lanky 6 5 and am thrilled with the fit of the size 5. more room to move around and makes for a more comfortable bike, better for climbing and general trail riding, as well as charging at speed and cornering. this Norco is like a size up from my previous eeb, a size xl Giant Reign and i much prefer this bigger bike. for me, the size 5 is goldilocks, porridge just right.
