I'm not sure what this thread is about any more, but here's a short clip from earlier today of Hans dropping down a little section on a trail called T&A. You SoCal riders will recognize it.

Washington State just passed legislation that classifies everything above a class 1 e-bike(32kph max assist speed/750w max power/pedal assist only) as an e-moto/moped requiring a valid driver's license, insurance and the operator to be over 16 years of age.
They don’t have enough people to enforce the laws that actually reduce violent crime, I wouldn’t worry about the “bicycle police” coming after anyone. This is just more stupid legislation to shut-up the trail “Karens” and take money away (under the guise of safety) from taxpayers foolish enough to apply for a “license”.

I just so lurrve the "Karens" thing, a neat device to seize the moral high ground and thus dismiss all further argument as invalid.
