• Warning!!

Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Does your motor meet the EN 15194:2017 standard

You are correct that there is no enforcement at this time. It's a shame though that if there isn't enforcement you don't think the rules exist.
No, what’s a shame is you Karen’s of the world always needlessly bitching and moaning about what other people are doing rather than just enjoying life. You are always in here, in every single thread, telling everyone what they should or shouldn’t be doing. As if you’re some authority on every single topic. No one really cares what you think bro! Stop trying to push your non relevant opinions on everyone. Every thread I go into, there you are telling someone what they should be doing. Just give it a rest and STFU already!

Whether you like it or not, Amflow has double the power. You get the wrong people riding Amflow motors and climbing non-technical terrain is going to be an accident waiting to happen. Especially the riders that only have an hour or less of time to ride.

I saw your post on getting KOMs, any climbs on those KOMs? How fast was your average climbing speed?

Tell me you don't have an Amflow Avinox without telling me you don't have an Avinox.

This is the thread for 90% of you.

If I raise my dropper far enough, I too may be as bent over in fevered anticipation of the state controlling my riding.
What range extender?

You won't believe this, but this was somewhat tongue in cheek. Mine, not DJI's

How fast? Well, to answer your question, if I got the KOM, then I was the fastest. 😂👍🏼 And guess what, no one died! Can you believe it! 🤣

Let me jump in with an example for you.

I'm trying like heck to get the eMTB KOM on White Horse, a 2.99 mile gradual (2.3%) climb at Hawes. Currently tied for second place; with a 15.7 mph (25.3 kph) average. Ken O is a beast though. There's one downhill part of this trail where I'll bump against the Class 3 speed limit for 100 yards or so. I'm seriously considering dumping the hundreds of dollars it takes to remove this bs Class 3 speed limit. Holding off for now in case I decide to buy a new bike.
