Need a second bike to take out family and friends so don't want to spend to much and have come across these options.

YT decoy x core 1 coming all in at £4658.80 but not due for estimated delivery until end of August
Or
Santa Cruz Vala AL70 with range extender All in at £4617.50 and can be delivered in 3 days from order.

Since your motivation is to take out family and friends you don't really need an Avinox motor or the "risk" issues of YT. The Vala is a great bike, and you can get a range extender if you want to go on massive trips. No contest IMO.

Thanks for the replies looks like the vala is the winner here. However when on the site for the vala this popped up and seems like an good value option. It's 600w battery like the Vala.

When I buy another (probably low/mid power) eMTB, I'll definitely keep the Shuttle AM. I ride with guys who only have analog MTBs, so when I ride the eMTB, I ride solo. Would be cool to have a buddy join me for the long backcountry rides where I climb 5K+ and am in the middle of nowhere at times.
 
Id take the wild, I could use it for a very back up.for my good bike, boom shucks lucky.

Bying one specifically for the missis, vala but the carbon version.
