I may be being impatient...but I installed the update over 24hours ago, nowt. So uninstalled and reinstalled the Flow app on my Android phone and no change.

Was just wondering if there is a delay with SCs?

I struggled with the update and same as you thought that maybe Santa Cruz had not approved. I got everything updated by signing out and then signing back in. Then the blue banner appeared in the components > drive unit screen that allowed for 120 update.

The update for my Vala worked on Monday. After doing the app and main FW update first I had to remove the bike from the app and then add it back in. This brought the second, small FW update and all at this time available updates where there.

You get 120 Nm for all riding modes and 600 % support for Turbo, eMTB+ and Auto.

Extended Boost for all modes and adjustable will follow middle of the year, same as the drivetrain tensioner.

Did my first ride after update today and must say I'm impressed.
I use eMTB+ with support +5 to get 600 %, 120 Nm, 750 W, and dynamic -2. eMTB is support +3 to get approx. 475 %, 120 Nm, 650 W and dynamic 0. Tour with support +1 to get 154 %, all else at default and Eco all at default.
eMTB is used for those tricky uphill trails with roots, steps and other obstacles where I need a balance of power and control.
eMTB+ is for those flowy but steep uphills where I can use all the power available.

Mine worked on my Bullit yesterday. Had to do the same as others above - app update, first update, waited overnight and then logged out/logged back in to app and banner appeared to do it.

Thanks all, appears I have an issue then...I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, I've removed and reregistered my bike on the app, but still have the same compatibility message. My bike has got the US firmware\wheel size mod though, but the previous updates have worked without issue.

I just installed mine, downloaded and installed the update last night, and couldn't see an increase in the torque value, have now just gone into settings - components - drive unit and there was a separate update there that's given me the 120nm. I didn't have to update or reinstall the app or anything different to any other update.

I read this on some other comments from riders still waiting for the update to work. My guess is the US firmware mod blocking the update. 🤷‍♂️
Yeah, it was done back in November when we only had one option...I'm away for a week now, so will see if it's miraculously fixed itself before deciding on what to do next.

Delete the flow app then load it back up! That’s the only way I was able to update to 120nms on Bullit cx5 and Mondraker cx-r !

Did my Bullit update two days ago. Had the first notice, did that no problem. About an hour later saw the prompt for the 2nd phase, did that no problem. EXCEPT I didn't have the slider for the extended boost. I saw nowhere in the Bosch "what's new" that it would be delayed, thought something was wrong. Had to consult other sources to find out what Bosch should have told me.

I WISH I COULD TURN OFF THE STUPID "UPHILL, DOWNHILL, LEVEL" IDIOTIC SCREEN NOTICES! (from a few updates ago)

This was in the fine print of the what's new article, second sentence:
Extended Boost is already available for the following drive units of the smart system in the Race, eMTB+ and eMTB riding modes, but cannot be customised: Performance Line CX-R (BDU386Y), Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition (BDU376Y), Performance Line CX (BDU384Y), Performance Line CX (BDU374Y), Performance Line SX (BDU314Y). Customisation is available in every riding mode and for the following drive units of the smart system from mid-2026: Cargo Line (BDU384Y), Cargo Line (BDU374Y), Performance Line Sprint (BDU314Y). Extended Boost is not available in Limit mode.

This is configurable.
You need to go into the Flow app - eBike settings - display configuration.
Find the 'dynamic screen' and remove it.

Thanks for the reply. I missed the "and" in the other message, looked like it applied to cargo motors only.

I went to that dynamic screen page but don't see that is selectable. That page only shows power, cadence, heart rate as changeable. Nothing indicating uphill downhill level shift up shift down type of messages.

You cannot configure what is shown on the dynamic screen - that is preconfigured by Bosch.
The dynamic screen is actually four different screens that are shown depending on the riding situation. There is one for uphill, level, downhill and standstill. Before switching from one to the other the display shows a short message indicating which mode it's switching to.
When you don't like that message showing up you can either delete the whole dynamic screen from your display or simply not select the dynamic screen as the one you ride with.
You can find details about the dynamic screen and screenshots of the different configurations on the Bosch help website. Contrary to what the text says, the dynamic screen is also available on the Kiox 400C and not only on Kiox 300 / Kiox 500.

I'm with you, why would they put that on there? A 3rd grade can determine if they are going uphill, standing still or going downhill 😆
Perhaps that gets removed in July when the boost and chain tensioner comes?

Absolutely, but the programmer was so happy to figure this out that he had to tell the world. :ROFLMAO:

I don't need the level screen and certainly not the downhill screen with its full size two digit speed.

What I want and did try to configure as a separate screen is the uphill config. But that can't be done. For us simple users the data options for individual screens lack rider power or cadence for one of the small 3x2 layout fields.
