Does anyone have any feedback about buying an Amflow direct from the official amflowbikes.com store vs through a dealer in your country? I wonder if warranty issues are handled more quickly through direct since I read something about dealers being required to stock their own warranty replacement parts?

I live in a location that doesn't have a dealer so having the direct channel is hugely helpful.

My direct ordering process is actually taking a bad turn. I made the SEPA bank transfer to that bank account in the Netherlands and my money doesn't get registered and is in limbo somewhere unknown. Paid over one week and a half ago... This obviously doesn't feel good.

That's crazy. The Amflow website has Paypal. Why didn't you use it ?

I bought through a dealer, but they were hopeless. Communication was terrible. I would buy direct from the Amflow website in the future.

I bought through a dealer and my experience was fine, but do feel like it was just adding a step between myself and Amflow.

Also, regarless of if you buy through dealer or direct, you still seem to be able to register for direct to Amflow support on their website using proof of purchase from one of their registered resellers. After a day or so the list of benefits and remaining uses appeared on the Amflow website for my bike.

Haven't had to use it yet though.

Because a standard bank transfer between within the EU shouldn't include any kind of hassle in the first place?
Update on the situation, i asked their support to check the books for a second time. Still nothing. And also not much information on top. Amflow doesn't even seem to be the direct owner of the bank account they use on their webshop. "Terra Trading B.V." seems to be used as an escrow (sorry for any incorrect english).
I canceled my direct order and really have to try to get my money back now. That's my experience for "direct vs dealer".

it's not because the bike is not available for the moment (PX announced in july and PR haven't availability date) and they recover money only when they delivered ? heve you ask at your bank where is the money ?

A bank transfer doesn't guarantee a refund if you don't get the product you ordered. Paypal does. And it doesn't cost any extra. And the onus is on the seller to prove he delivered the product to you.

Infact Paypal is the default payment method if you buy from Amflow direct. See below.

Anyway. Do as you please. But wow you could have saved yourself a lot of headache.

Something to check. Are you sure you are actually dealing with Amflow, and not a duplicate website ? This is a common scam.

I have been able to have my bank reverse a transfer after it funded. Edit: I called the bank and said I suspected a potential scam and to be safe they were able to reclaim the amount.
