Hi everyone! I’m looking to upgrade the brakes on my Amflow PX Carbon Pro. The stock Magura disks are a bit of a limiting factor due to their 2.5mm thickness. Since the rear disk also serves as the speed sensor, I’m unsure about replacement options. Does anyone know if the standalone 42-teeth Speed Sensor Ring, used on other Avinox systems, is compatible with the PX? This would allow me to swap the disks for standard ones and significantly expand my upgrade possibilities. Thanks for any insights!

Hi, I want to upgrade the brakes as well, Amflow customer service told me that the ring fits. I can’t tell for sure because the bike hasn’t even arrived at the dealer.

View attachment 183111Thank you! Meanwhile I have found the maintenance manual. It confirms the speed sensor solution. I will go for Hope tech 4 Evo GR4... Still hesitating for the discs.

Hello,
2026 Amflow PL Carbon Pro (Large frame). 200lb rider. I employ 2025 TRP DHR EVO 223mmx2.3mm front/220mm x 2.3mm rear. Best brake set ever. Controlled modulation throughout all speeds/loads with no heat fade. My 42-tooth Amflow speed rings function perfectly. I have no 2.5mm thick rotor experience.
I hope this helps...
JB
