Are there any wireless dropper posts that can be powered by the motor system? Specifically Bosch G4 smart in my case but I see the Amflow has Dropper shown on the aux port diagram, but can't work out which posts you can actually plug into this port.

I have an Orbea Wild M20 and I hate the headset cable routing; would love to switch to both wireless dropper and gears but hate the look of the AXS/Neo battery and it seems pointless when it's sat above a great big battery with spare ports!

The Orbea MC10-RS is the only one I've found so far, but that is Shimano and on the Rise only.

I only have experience with the Reverb AXS wireless dropper. I installed a 170mm Reverb on my medium Rail. I was able to slam the full post into position with a few mm to spare.

The battery fits under the seat and is basically out of the way. I ride everyday but I find that the small battery lasts for a few weeks before it needs recharging. I also hang my bike with a Saris crossbar which doesn’t interfere with the battery.

The Reverb dropper came with a paddle controller which has a coin-battery. I was impressed with the speed of activation …no delay …ever.

I don’t think I would want to wire the dropper directly to the motor or battery. That would involve another wire …which would defeat the purpose of being wireless with less wires/cables.

I use the AXS reverb and GX derailer on the same bike. ( 2 batteries).

If you have a G4, you might never have an option for that motor system.
I too have a Wild and to make dealing with the HCR easier I went against my preferences and went to electronic shifting and dropper and honestly I'm really pleased with the performance. Furthermore the weight increase was less than expected.

The wire would go straignt from the bottom of the post to the motor so you still get the benefit of one less cable from your handlebar which is the main benefit. I think main battery powered droppers on emtbs will be standard soon. Avinox have it as an option now just nned some more post manufactures to bring the droppers.

Yeah, that system could be more reliable.
The AXS derailer in my Fuel EXE is hardwired to the motor. Works great and one less battery to worry about.
