Levo Gen 4 Levo EVO Rumor Thread – Longer Travel Levo Coming?

I don’t think the mythical 600wh battery exists outside of the few that Spesh has to “show off” how light you can theoretically get the bike. My local Spesh dealer was saying its a supply chain issues with the cells or something along those lines and Spesh has no ETA when they’ll actually be available for purchase.
You make me feel very special... my Levo already has the 605w installed! It seems your distributor doesn't have up-to-date information...

All I know is he’s got a few on order for customers and Spesh can’t give him a firm ETA. I’ve actually not seen anyone with the battery but then again all my mates ditched Spesh, I’m the only one that still owns a Levo.

Price?

From one of the market leaders and (former?) technology leaders I'd expect something around 22 kg, like Unno Mith or Teewing Flux.
This whole Levo 4 platform is hopelessly outdated. At least they are trying.

Specialized should try to generate value or interest in the Levo 4 platform with better builds & prices until they can roll out the next gen that will hopefully be competitive.

The spec choices on some of these builds is awful (S1000 RD with Rockshox base level suspensions or Rhythm suspensions, come on!).

To be fair, though, the battery is very large, and the tires add significant weight, especially in this case.

Furthermore, the battery is replaceable, which, as it turns out, adds a lot of weight. It's strange that everyone is currently switching to permanently installed batteries and Specialized making them easily replaceable. Either way, don't compare apples and oranges, or at least, mention it. And no, I don't have a Levo 4 :)

Where do we find information on the builds?

The release date was yesterday the 14th. Spoke to my local shop who confirmed this and told me a little about the bikes, then apparently the embargo was pushed forward.

New zeb but pictured with old one

Here's the official info:

Cool
I’m a huge fan of HBO in suspension. Inspires confidence in drops, and mis aligned landings.
Good thing is I’m not sad, I’m not at all buttsore that I have my Levo and not this one. I’m still 100% satisfied, I’ll see if I’m sad next year! Time to ride….

This Levo Evo should be pretty fun in the right hands. It’s ready to go down fast.
Good luck new buyers!!!!

How light can you really make a 170/180mm enduro emtb? Similar Avinox bikes are 23-24kg.
My coil fork, coil shock, 170/150 mondraker crafty in size large (1320mm wheelbase) is 22.4kg, with the bosch cx and a 600wh battery. Add 0.8kg for an 800wh battery.

You should be able to buy the LT link (230x62.5mm shock needed) aftermarket so you can convert your Levo of you want. Just stick a longer airspring in your fork.

According to Sam’s Bikes video above; we will be able.

Changeable batteries for the win !
Get a second battery and you can actually use the bike in the higher power modes without any range anxiety.

Otherwise, what's the point in the higher power and torque?
