Santa Cruz has not attended Sea Otter in quite while unfortunately. I will be attending the show also hoping to ride some bikes as well. I am hoping to find a Velduro Rogue to swing a leg over if I can’t ride one.
You’ll love a rouge. Sick bikes. Heaps here in NZ

Here's the thing... what does Santa Cruz have to demo? Do they have a new bike that no one knows about? You can demo a Santa Cruz bike at your LBS... same with Ibus, Forbidden (rode the Druid CoreE w/ Avinox, and, frankly, wasn't impressed AT ALL), etc.
Why not try Aventon? Let's take off the snob hats & try some other brands. You'll, more than likely, come away impressed. I'd love to ride one with a Mahle.
The thing is... you know what you're getting with a Bosch, a Specialized (although that Levo R is FUN, rode it right after the Forbidden, and it made the druid feel pedestrian), etc. If you're going to an event like Sea Otter, branch out & try brands that aren't all over the internet, all over lbs'... be bold & try something new/ different. You'll have fun, learn about new things & maybe have your eyes opened a bit.

Demo Update: Teewing Flux demo opportunity at dripebikes - this one fell through the cracks. About the best opportunity to test something akin to a M2S equipped Velduro Rogue or E-Dreadnought.

Edit: Also Mahle will be demoing bikes according to the roster.
Yeah I hope 🤞 more are added to the list.

Yeti, SC haven't been there in years, Push Industries has in the past but not attending last year or this year. Many have scaled back their booth sizes. Rising cost, smaller budgets, and less ROI. Less free swag, raffles, etc from years ago also.

Dual slalom this year logistically has changed locations. 😔.

I have attended the last 10+ years and will be there. It's always good to see friends and industry supporters.

Brian its always good to see you!!! 👊

Will you be in a booth again this year? (I also see Derby won’t be there either 😔)

Do you know if Darren from Push will still be going? That guy is awesome!

Ray sold Derby two years ago. The owner, Tyler won't be there. They plan to attend Sedona MTB festival in Nov. I was in contact with Darren yesterday and he said he is still undecided lol

I will be at the Ibis tent on Friday with Calirado Kid and Jess the Maker, and helping from time to time at Kali Protective booth Thurs and Friday..come say hi!

SHOOK that Rad Power is there. They are bankrupt and having a booth is BIG money...

Definitely will stop by the Ibis booth to check out the new Oso TR and HD . Dont know if I can beat Jess in a track stand with Joe shouting 🤗 but may give it a go as long as she wears a mustache! 🥸

Joe aka Calirado Kid will also be at the Amflow booth on Saturday 1-2:30PM!

Does anyone know if Amflow will be demoing their new bikes? I have not got a response from them and they are not on the demo exhibitor list.

Just saw on Whyte bikes IG page that there will be a Karve EVO RSX in the RIDEWRAPS booth. Doubt it will be available for demo, but will be nice to look at.

I didn’t see where Propain is listed as a vendor, do you happen to know what booth they’ll be in?

Still haven’t heard back from @propain_na. on IG 🤞

Just heard back from@propain_na. on IG and just saw their van driving in this morning. They will be at partner booths DT Swiss, Ridewrap, POC and öhlins. A few Propain employees will be at the booths to answer questions.

Did anyone get confirmation if Amflows are being demoed? I won't be there on the first day of the event.

They are there with a fleet of demo bikes.
Yes they have demo bikes! Get there early and reserve a time - you may have to wait for the bike in your size to return or get a quick charge but both the PX and PR are available to ride in multiple sizes.

Talked to Avinox folks that were there they are looking at 400 water bottle sized extended battery later in the year and are looking into possible M1 motor/sensor upgrades if there is demand for it. 😉

Let me know if folks want pix of bikes at Sea Otter with Avinox

I would be scared by this picture if I was Bosch or SRAM. Port options and componentry all laid out. Notice the gear hub on the lower right, I wonder if it's their own or some 3rd party like 3X3 or Speedhub.

I guessing this is where they go, instead of the motor gearbox.

I have an internally geared hub, and gates belt drive, on my commuter ebike. It is absolutely brilliant. Zero maintenance in 12,000km.

If Avinox released a stronger, electronic version of the internally geared hub, in the next Amflow. It's game over for all the competition.

Avinox
Nice info 👍
Gear Hub
RX600 compatibility
RX400(?) down the line

For the price of that Pivot Bosch, yeeeah don't know about that. I have always found the bosch motor quite unappealing, 80's bosch logo and large fins sticking out, almost twice the size I would guess, compared to Avinox.

Looks like the "Levo bump" that we used to complain about -

Its nearly a pregnant 2017 levo. The roll over, the fat belly. How are they releasing bikes right now with such a massive presence. There are so many bikes right now in 2026 that don't even look like ebikes.

Bosch are staunch in power so how are they still so big in form with motor and battery,
