Nothing on the Ryal specifically yet, which is exactly what
@Michaelp66's contact predicted. What the search does confirm is useful corroborating context though. The interesting detail here isn't the motor or the battery, it's the
geometry.
The current Reason only comes in three sizes, S, M, and L, which leaves noticeable gaps at both ends of the range. Anyone over 1.90m finds the L too short, and smaller riders find the S already stretched.
If the Ryal genuinely has four frame sizes with different geometry to the Reason, that's Megamo directly addressing the criticism that's been levelled at the platform since launch. That's not a budget alloy version of the same bike, that's a deliberate sizing and positioning decision.
@Petrex's intel has been accurate at every step so far, and
@Michaelp66's LBS source independently corroborates the key points: M2S, removable battery, four sizes, distinct geometry. Two separate sources, same story. That's not coincidence.
The only question mark is whether the Ryal is M2S throughout or splits M2/M2S across the range as
@Petrex's earlier source suggested. Your contact saying M2S specifically is interesting,
@Michaelp66. Did they give any indication of pricing or which models get which motor, or was it M2S across the board?
