Yeah, it seems like that.

This week my riding buddy just ordered a Pivot with the Avinox. My son-in-law is seriously looking at one now. I’m not in that “camp”…I’m happy with my Bosch CX.

I worry about the potential public feedback regarding speed. A manufacturer who doesn’t govern itself may need outside governing …which would suck.

IMO, it’s bad enough that the EU has a lower speed restriction than us in NA. Some inexperienced group set these restrictions. The new Avinox models may be the trigger for further restrictions. Who knows?

Where I ride, my bike is considered a Class 1…all others are not allowed. .
No drones, no hunting, no pooping either

I expect the EU limit, which we in the UK are saddled with, too , is because cycling is very popular in cities like Amsterdam, for example. In cities where there are thousands of bicycles whizzing around with pedestrians, you wouldn't want them whizzing at 28mph.
