As title really my magic Shine stopped working after 2 yrs, so got in touch with them out of warrenty recommend new lead then battery pack, tried with friends spares all works, so not really keen on dropping more money with them anymore as it should last longer than that, as only use in winter,
So been looking at upgrading to exposure British built warrenty seems awesome and from what I've read upgrades and fixing after the warrenty period seems great,
The 2 contenders are six pack and maxx d both very similar price £20 difference,
Would like to try outbound but not sure how warrenty would work with been in the UK,
Should also say I use a exposure joystick on helmet,
So asking out of the 3 lights mentioned, which and why? To help me choose
I'm running towards the 6pack, at the moment due to a good price
Thanks all

I run a six-pack on the bars with helmet mounted joystick. Ride evenings all year round - beyond 10pm sometimes.

Get one with the reflex and you’re laughing. All my group use them.

I had the cable changed on my magishine under warranty (11.5 months old). It then lasted another season before started playing up again so I took it apart and found that between the grommet and the circuit board of the headlamp the insulation had obviously got very hot and had cracked up and begun to fall apart inside the outer sheath. This led to shorts causing it to shut down via the BMS. Somet5imes you could get it running again by plugging in a power pack via a USB C cable which would reset the BMS. Eventually even this trick stopped working as the cable had gone too far and was constantly shorting out somewhere. The battery was fine on loads of other lamps I have with the same plug so I knew it was good. Long story short. I unsoldered the cable from the circuit board, cut is back 5 cms and resoldered it back on and it has been absolutely fine ever since.
