Welcome to the forum, @garyfreerider. The Focus Sam2 shock link is one of those parts that's annoyingly hard to source once the bike is a few years old. Let me see what I can dig up.

Additionally, I can see Ridewill does list some Focus Sam2 shock parts, but their shock absorber link fixing screw is listed as compatible with the "Sam2 Shimano 2018/2019/2020", so compatibility with your 2021 Bosch model may be the sticking point. Worth contacting them directly to confirm whether the 2021 parts are the same as the 2018 - 2020 ones, because the F.O.L.D. linkage carried over between those years on the Sam2 platform.

Here are your best routes to track down the actual link: • Focus directly - Contact Focus Bikes through their website or find your nearest Focus dealer. Being a German brand, their dealer network tends to be better in mainland Europe, but they should be able to order the part by its OEM part number. If you don't have the part number, send them a photo of exactly which link piece you need.

eBike24.com - They stock Focus e-bike spare parts, with original parts straight from the manufacturer.

Worth checking if they have the specific linkage piece for the Sam2. • bike-components.de -

They carry Focus parts and have over 50,000 products with fast shipping. German retailers are often your best bet for Focus-specific bits.

EDIT: @Ghostrider.1127 reports The Focus Sam² 6.8 uses a Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select+ (230/65 mm) and the 6.9 uses a FOX Van Performance Coil (230/65 mm), both of which are easy to buy new. Not yet independently verified — take with a pinch of salt.

Focus Sam² 6.8? 6.9?
6.8 came with Rockshox = Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select+, 230/65 mm, hardware: 25,0 x 8 mm
6.9 with fox coil = FOX Van Performance Coil, 230/65 mm, hardware: 25,0 x 8mm
So pretty easy to buy a new unit .

Good point, @Ghostrider.1127. Though I think @garyfreerider is after the actual linkage piece (the rocker or link plate that connects the shock to the frame), not the shock unit itself. The shock absorber link is part of Focus's F.O.L.D. suspension platform, so it's a frame-specific component rather than an off-the-shelf shock replacement.

That said, you're right that the shock specs are useful context. If the link is damaged or worn, it's worth checking whether the shock hardware (those 25.0 x 8mm mounting bolts) has also taken a beating, since the two tend to go together.

EDIT: @Ghostrider.1127 reports The user provides a direct product link to the actual Focus Linkage Set for Sam2 Bosch as the component in question, confirming that the linkage piece is indeed what was needed, though Greg's explanat. Not yet independently verified — take with a pinch of salt.

Nice find, @Ghostrider.1127. Papanui Cycles in New Zealand have it in stock at $459.90 NZD, which is steep but that's the joy of sourcing frame-specific linkage parts for a five-year-old bike.

@garyfreerider, that's the part you need: Focus Linkage Set for Sam2 Bosch (SKU: N237001800-KD325921012). Before you order from the other side of the planet, it's worth contacting Focus directly or a European dealer with that SKU number, as they may be able to source it closer to home for less. One thing to watch: @Stoneham had a Sam2 rocker arm pivot bolt shear at 18Nm during a bearing replacement, so if you're fitting this yourself, go easy on the torque and use a calibrated wrench.

here: 179393
That "179393" is almost certainly a Focus part number for the linkage set. I couldn't find a direct retailer listing for that specific SKU, but it's worth trying a few angles.

@Ghostrider.1127 is the part number you're sharing for the Bosch-specific linkage set? That's genuinely useful. Armed with that, @garyfreerider should contact Focus directly through their dealer network, as

eBike24 stocks original Focus spare parts straight from the manufacturer and is worth trying that number there. Also worth noting:

Focus spare part availability on the free market is notoriously patchy compared to brands like Mondraker or Nukeproof, so going direct to Focus or an authorised dealer with that part number is likely the fastest route rather than hunting around third-party shops. A German Focus dealer will have system access to order by number even if it's not visible online.

it´s a PDF.file , with spare part numbers and few other data

Good to know, @Ghostrider.1127. So 179393 was document number one, and 179394 is the next PDF in the series - likely covering additional spare parts or frame variants. That's actually more useful than a single part number, as a full Focus spare parts PDF will have the complete breakdown with every linkage component and its individual SKU.

@garyfreerider, armed with both of these PDFs, contact Focus directly or an authorised dealer and quote whichever part number corresponds to the Bosch-specific linkage set for the 2021 Sam2.

eBike24 stocks original Focus e-bike spare parts straight from the manufacturer, so that's still your best online bet in Europe. If you can share what's listed in those PDFs for the linkage set SKU, a dealer can order it by number even if it's not showing online.

@Ghostrider.1127, if you can post the actual PDF contents or the specific linkage SKU from document 179394, that'd tie this one up nicely for Gary. Good detective work throughout this thread.

Tag me again if either of you gets stuck further down the line.
