Hi all,
I have a Cube eMTB Stereo Hybrid 120 Race Allroad 750 from 2023 . I was wondering if it's possible to install a chain guide (see attachment) on the front gear?
Thanks

Sure. Asking my AI buddy, he says it uses guides specifically for Bosch Gen 4 motors, rather than ISCG-05 or high direct mount.
You should verify that for yourself, though.

I’ll share my experience with chain guides on my Rail which has the Bosch Gen4 CX motor. I took if off. My Fuel EXE doesn’t have one.

Removing and replacing the chain guide was a pain. If not lined up properly with the chain there would be a rubbing noise. Once, the cuff of my pants went through the chainring, trapped my progress, and snapped when I pushed through.

I ordered another chain guide.…but continued to ride without one while I waited for a replacement. I don’t ride with my stripped-retro-bell-bottoms(jk) but I make sure my cuff’s are not flapping around.

I’m sure it’s possible to install a chain guide for your bike …but I no longer use or need one. My replacement still sits in the original plastic bag.

I've also ridden my Gen 4 for the last few years without a chain guide without any problems.
I found when the chain did jump on fast uneven downhill sections when the guide was fitted, it was the derailleur clutch causing the problems.
Sorted that out and threw the guide away.

Have Reverse Components chain guides in our Rails. Flip up for easy cleaning, easy to adjust.
