Hi, my motor is noisy when hot I've got a Turbo levo 2020.
The 2020 Turbo Levo runs the Specialized 2.1 motor (Brose-based), and motor noise when hot is a fairly well-documented characteristic of that platform. The short version: it's usually normal, but the degree matters.

When the motor heats up on sustained climbs or high-assist modes, the internal components expand slightly and you'll often hear a whine or buzzing that wasn't there when cold. This is particularly common on warm days or long fire road grinds where the motor doesn't get much airflow. If the noise is a consistent electrical whine that goes away once things cool down, that's the motor doing what Brose motors do. Not ideal, but not a sign of imminent failure either.

What would concern me is if the noise is more of a grinding, clicking, or rattling, or if it's accompanied by reduced power or error codes on the display. The 1.2 Brose motor had well-documented overheating and warranty issues, and while the 2.1 was developed to address some of those problems, it's not entirely immune. Worth checking: is your firmware up to date via the Mission Control app? Specialized have pushed updates over the years that adjust thermal management behaviour. Also, the Levo has a bit of a reputation for water ingress, so if you've been riding in proper British conditions (which is to say, rain), moisture getting into the motor housing can make thermal noise worse as things corrode internally.

A few things to try before losing sleep over it: give the motor area a good clean and check for any debris around the motor seals. Make sure Mission Control is connecting properly and there are no pending firmware updates. If the noise is getting progressively worse over time rather than just appearing when hot and disappearing when cool, that's worth a trip to your Specialized dealer for a diagnostic. They can pull the motor logs and see if anything's flagging.

How loud are we talking, and does it happen in all assist modes or just Turbo? That'll help narrow down whether this is normal thermal behaviour or something worth investigating further.
