So it’s not really about the size of the downtube? Many people point out the chunky Bosch bikes but they are still far better proportioned that the Levo 4.

I don't think anyone would call the amflow a revolution, other than the power level and quality of integration. Amflow almost certainly copied the stumpjumper's kinematics and geo, as it had a proven track record for sales. The amflow is almost identical to a levo 4 in the long configuration. The other day I was looking at a 2019 Levo S-Works next to an AMFlow Pro and I was surprised by how similar they are.
Long battery life, slim frame, travel, and suspension setup… basically, they've increased a lot of power and a little battery capacity.
A real revolution! ………….six years later
Nice ride. Everyone complains about the downtube, but when I go from riding my Gen 4 back to a Gen 3, the Gen 3 downtube actually seems too skinnySorry again guys, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I love my bike

I agree. I went with proven bike tech over motor tech. A solid motor matters, but I cared more about good geometry, suspension, and a dialed chassis first. Also, the dealer network and great customer support i get from specialized is a plusI could have bought any E-bike brand, The Levo 4 just made the most sense to me for being a tough bike for PNW riding.
The Amflow wasnt even a consideration for me personally, the extra power is only useful on service roads and I’d rather have a known brand that isn’t made of cheese. So I’ll take the extra weight.

How many of us or know someone with a Gen 3 Levo had the motor replaced? Give me a like. Personally I know at least 10 people between SoCal and NorCal that had their Gen 3 motor replaced, myself included.I agree. I went with proven bike tech over motor tech. Probably 679752 more Levo’s out there that can break compared to 14 Amflows. How many of us or know someone with a Gen 3 Levo had the motor replaced? Give me a like. Personally I know at least 10 people between SoCal and NorCal that had their Gen 3 motor replaced, myself included.
There are same amount of Bosch out there compares to Gen 3 Levo’s and they don’t have 60% motor failure rate like the Levo gen 3 does.Probably 679752 more Levo’s out there that can break compared to 14 Amflows.
And Specialized in down the road, Amflow I’m like 200km away from a motorcycle dealer that sells them
My first ebike was a gen 2 levo, then i owned two gen 2 kenevos, 2 levo sl’s and still have my gen 3 levo. All, except sl, had motors replaced for free which renewed the 2 year warranty on the Levo and 4 years on the Kenevo. Motors can be replaced no problem. I take it to the shop when it starts to get loud. I’m just saying I prioritized bike frame technology over motor technology. I’ll always assume i may break a motor just like some electronic i’ve owned. I’ve been lucky to get same day replacement from my LBS. Not much of a hassle, no downtime. I’ve seen worse happen from other emtb manufacturers and I’ve seen some do better. Overall, specialized suits my needs the best. The gen 4 is so fun. Waiting to get a Levo Evo frameset….How many of us or know someone with a Gen 3 Levo had the motor replaced? Give me a like. Yup love my Levo and riding it is a pleasureSorry again guys, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I love my bike

Probably the last Specialized they will be able to test by breaking the embargo
What a fuss about nothing... It's not a new bike, just a Levo with different specs and a 29-inch rear wheel. So Specialized has to make a cross-country version of its Levo to match the DJI bikes in terms of weight?
that’s the fist thing I noticed
Front head tube angle is diff on the on frame etc but I’m sure the specs will pop up soon somewhere online personally I like it
Doubt that Specialized has any desire to match DJI in weight or technology. What a fuss about nothing... It's not a new bike, just a Levo with different specs and a 29-inch rear wheel. So Specialized has to make a cross-country version of its Levo to match the DJI bikes in terms of weight?
Don’t do it, the occasional times when your buddies decided to ride a black trails you are going to bottom out all the way down the trail and ended up otb and killing yourself. Your life is worth more.Front head tube angle is diff on the on frame etc but I’m sure the specs will pop up soon somewhere online personally I like itbut thats just me
Why not? If not, they wouldn't have released a software update to increase the performance of their motor...Doubt that Specialized has any desire to match DJI in weight or technology.
Looks like any other 130/140 travel trail bike bottoming out to me. What do you consider dangerous about it?
