A dealer told me Nought-e will be in shops in July with the updated eDruid and the down country bike.No dreadnought version as far as im aware for 26, new ones drop aprilish i believe
Yeah my dealer also told me a Dreadnought was coming with the revised Avinox and told me some power/torque numbers so keen to see how correct they were.
They numbers do correlate with what a friend told me who works for another bike brand bringing an Avinox bike this year so think there is some truth.
Think I'll try get a demo on one but doubt I'd change, The Druid works absolutely perfectly for me, even on steep Scottish enduro stuff, think once I go to an EXT Coil on the rear it'll be even better. I ride all sorts of stuff so the "lesser" travel suits me fine without being over biked on the easier stuff.Tbf i didnt ask about naughteeee when placing my order, be to much bike for me, keen to see it in person though.
Im looking forward to getting mine though its not due to july for tier ive ordered. Love my normal druid so assume this is logical choice! They seem to be using same colours from the analogues my tier is the dr greenthumb colour one above is the purple from the dreadnaught. No lite one this year either just battery choices.Think I'll try get a demo on one but doubt I'd change, The Druid works absolutely perfectly for me, even on steep Scottish enduro stuff, think once I go to an EXT Coil on the rear it'll be even better. Plus having seen the trails that Brian and Ollie rode on at pace it backs up the druid is more than up to the task of proper rowdy chunk
Be good to see it in some more colourways, the launch colours were a bit disappointing tbf, I fancied the teal but could get a grey one sooner so went that route![]()
Tried my 250 Reverb, Wont work for me on the Druid as the seat tube is taller and it's just a bit of a stretch for me even slammed, Guess I'll need to go 225 then, Bit of a bummer as I was just gonna swap posts over on my bikesJust tried out a 250mm axs reverb dropper.. I can almost slam it all the way into an S4 frame. At around 10-15mm til the collar of the dropper you reach one of the cables of the charging port, which is pretty thick. You can push it down though are try to find a different spot for the cable although it is pretty crowed below the dropper post. I glady do not need it slammed anyhow. Around 17mm left and dropper does not touch the cable.
Tier 1 & 2 for the eDreadnought look good, 3 & 4 are so so. 1 & 2 should be hitting floors in April, at least that’s what Forbidden has told us.Yeah they colours are binded to the tier system this time round, so its not 2 colours for one tier each tier has a set colour.
Shorter cranks maybe?Tried my 250 Reverb, Wont work for me on the Druid as the seat tube is taller and it's just a bit of a stretch for me even slammed, Guess I'll need to go 225 then, Bit of a bummer as I was just gonna swap posts over on my bikes

150mm already on itShorter cranks maybe?
I'm hopeful they learned from the druid e.Ultimately, limited batch, no global availability, I would not count on it for this summer.

What were the numbers you have been told. Don't worry we won't hold you to itYeah my dealer also told me a Dreadnought was coming with the revised Avinox and told me some power/torque numbers so keen to see how correct they were.

They haven't, if your local dealer didn't order them your most likely won't be able to get one. Tier one with be a Rockshox build, black and red color scheme. Tier 2 will be a Fox build with a black and orange color scheme. Tier one will set you back some serious cash. And I dought you'll see much discounting with them being limited.I'm hopeful they learned from the druid e.
I've got my name on a s3 build 2 allocation, with early spring eta. Not holding my breath on that.
Don't know a thing about it, no idea what color it even is. Just going off of blind faith since my acoustic dreadnought v2 is so good.

Wow. Serious numbers therePretty much that
seems not needed but guess avinox want to keep pushing the numbersWow. Serious numbers there
They did order a tier 1 and a 2, in my size, with the 800wh. Slapped my name on the 2, since historically that has been the sweet spot for value. If the difference were something like a dual crown on the tier one though, I'd definitely go that way. They haven't, if your local dealer didn't order them your most likely won't be able to get one. The tier 2 is better value in my opinion, but it's still pretty expensive. I booked one for myself, coming off of a 2025 Orbea Wild and now riding a eDruid I'm really impressed with Forbidden. Definitely no dual crown forks coming on any of these ebikes. They did order a tier 1 and a 2, in my size, with the 800wh. You won't buy either so it doesn't matterCan you talk about these differences between these 2 bikes in more depth, what specifically you prefer about the e-Core?
Thanks
It’s not that there’s something specific that I prefer about the Druid. I usually get new bikes every 10-12 months. Perks of working at a shop. My buddy wanted to buy my Wild and we had a Druid Tier 3 at the shop that wasn’t spoken for so I took it.Can you talk about these differences between these 2 bikes in more depth, what specifically you prefer about the e-Core?

Are you swapping out to the dreadnaught then? I thought the dread might have a different idealer system to the Druid. More like the slash + and normal dread. It’s not that there’s something specific that I prefer about the Druid. I usually get new bikes every 10-12 months. Perks of working at a shop. The suspension platform feels really good though, you could definitely feel the pedal kickback in rough chunder or jumping, don’t feel any of that with the Druid.
The tall stack took a little to get use too, I know it’s pretty cliché to say it, but this bike really does ride like it has more suspension than it really does.
I can’t wait to try the upcoming eDreadnought.
