Hi all have read some articles on here about goggles but they seem a bit out dated so could i ask which goggles do people recommend ?

Have Oakley Airbrake MTB goggles, wear them when weather gets really wet or when very dusty. Otherwise wear Oakley Jawbreakers.

I have been looking at the Oakley goggles and there is a lot to choose from does the torch or prism lenses make much difference a lot of my riding goes from open trails into darker woodland or would the clear lenses be ok?

Smith Squad XL snow goggles with ChromaPop Everyday Blue Mirror glasses (or the the smaller version) – no fogging, very little eye watering, awesome comfort, and a very wide field of view. They work very well with both full-face and regular helmets and the blue mirror glas looks badass.

Be careful when cleaning the inner lens, though – it scratches very easily!

The MTB version is only suitable for warm weather conditions.

Trail Torch in our Jawbreakers which we wear all year round is great. Think the Airbrake goggles are Torch, also great. Both are Prizm lenses and both much better than clear lenses for open into woodland and back again.

No issue with my MTB version in Scotland through the winter. Rarely fog up or cause me issues, the lens have vents

I still have Brand X from Wiggle that are going strong.
Only wear them for Park days though - they came with 3 additional lenses, which are easily interchangeable.
I've never had an issue with them, but assume with the demise of the parent company all Brand X gear is now no longer available.

This man knows. I have Oakley front line goggles with Trail Torch and if not wearing them its Oakley Flak XL's with Trail Torch or Prizim Road lenses. The Oakley Airbrake MTB models are the bees knees!

The prizim trail torch lense in woods are amazingly good.
