Just saw this test of the Full On MB6 vs the Avinox light:

There is a special kit for Avinox bikes: MB6 Avinox E-Bike Kit

Has anyone bought the light? How is your experience with it?
I have around Thirty night time miles on it and it rocks. Just buy it and use the mount that is included and you’ll be very happy. Great product.

How is it possible to get that much lumen when Avinox motor has a max output of 24W?

"During outdoor rides, the drive system supports up to 65 W fast charging to charge external devices via the display USB-C port" - https://dl.avinox-ebike.com/downloads/Avinox/20251014/Avinox_Drive_System_Product_Information.pdf

I don't know how it works but I just looked at this file.

Thanks for sharing! I keep meaning to make a post about this light, it's really incredible. Any questions please let me know, I've been using it for the past month or so :D

You can see in the Avinox docs that the light port (Expansion Port) has only 24W but the USB-C port has a whooping 65W:

That's cool since many USB -C ports on ebikes can't even charge an iPhone.

It's important to know how much W the motor gives when a light is connected to the battery cuz usually you don't get max lumen since the motor don't give enough W to power it.

I'm surprised Bosch G4 and G5 only gives 18W while Specialized 3.1 gives 48W.

Going to have to put this as a solid win the Avinox column even though the price is high for just a light that doesn't even include a battery.

I use lights weekly and I have to move them between bikes, keep them charged, etc. This just makes sense.

E-bikes need powered motors, powered droppers, powered drivelines & powered lights. It just makes sense. It would be nice to have a red LED at the end of the chainstay for those road transfers where bikes become all but invisible.
