Out of 20 thousand people on here, surely there is someone with a pinion motor bike?
I have the haibike All Mtn 10. I have fair few queries on the app that some wise ol' owl may know the answers to.....

I think the Nicolai had the old display on it? If not, then have you found a way of "setting" the screen? I wanted to see the battery % but it seems to flick back to the opening screen after 20 seconds? Also have you found a trip on the screen? I know when you use your phone as the screen there are a lot more features but I just don't like doing?
Also on the motor, are you running the standard factory settings? I am yet to figure out the elasticity and dynamic settings? Reading the descriptions still I don't understand them. And, have you been able to set miles instead of kilometres?
Sorry for all the questions - I have scoured You Tube and the web and have seen all the Pinion how to vids but real world experience always appreciated. 🙏
 
Ive converted my bikes from the standard remote display to the compact display with my own inboard mount.
I think your bike has the Master node display that is different to mine !
My display stays on whatever screen I flick to, so if I want to show the battery, it is on all the time. My screen gives all of the same information besides the map function as the phone display/ Not much use to you.
I Tend to leave the settings as they came, just ride and enjoy.
This info about the motor settings may help.

With the torque character parameter (formerly "Dynamic Adaptivity") you can set how much the engine force should be dependent on the pedal force. The more progressive, the more the motor power depends on the pedal force.

Adjustment torque character 0%
The engine power is little dependent on the pedal force, with little own power a lot of engine power is already deployed.

Adjustment torque character 100%
The engine power is strongly dependent on the pedal force, it requires a lot of personal power to develop the entire motor power.
The dynamic (formerly "elasticity") describes how dynamic/elastic the engine unfolds its power.
Is also referred to by Pinion as "gas acceptance".

Dynamic setting 0%
The motor deploys the power hard, starts immediately, without delay, without dynamics/elasticity

Dynamic setting 100%
The engine unfolds the power softly, with a slight deceleration, with a dynamic/elastic rise

I have the same bike
master node display modes are bulls**t, since only few info can be displayed . It has such potential that it,s a f***ing shame that FIT doesnt unleash it
I always set the range info. i just tried a couple of times to set cadence, and it never came back to opening screen until I press the button . sorry but I never tried with battery screen. I have enough to control the battery level with the hyphens at bottom , but I will test it next time I ride if I remember

Today I set battery screen and I confirm that this screen does not change to initial screen unless I press buttons again. It remains fixed
There is no option to show current trip (distance or time ) elevation Only total distance , cadence, range , and time battery%/tire pressure/heart rate
No option to select Mph or languages as Spanish
The software of this system is still in the Stone Age , too much to improve
Anyway I don’t regret buying it , because drivetrain is simply the best option on market , the engine , quality of components (battery , assembly, connections)and cinematic of the frame are also great
Software doesn’t live up to the rest of the bike’s features and that’s a shame
Hope FIT develops a better software

Nice pictures and so clean - here in the UK it is mud mud mud!! Yes, I agree, the system / software does have its fault but as a whole system it is awesome!! Have you changed the front forks? So nice to ride in the dry / sun of Spain!!

These pics were taken 2 weeks ago. Today it’s raining , but yes, in the most of Spanish regions there are more sunny days than rainy or cloudy days,
But note that vey dry terrain it’s sometimes not so good for grip. With these rainy days we are having exceptional grip (no muddy, just wet)
I’ve changed every components except drop
Fork is a manitou mezzer pro
Rear suspension is a manitou mara pro
Both are awesome
Carbon Handlebar and carbon wheels
Brakes are Hayes dominion
I got a great discount for the bike, and savings let me purchase all these improvements
At the end, I paid the same money as the CF10 RRP but with better components than CF 11 Not bad deal 😉

I'm owning a Delite 5 and a Homage 5 from Riese & Muller since a week (not really EMTB). I'm currently spending time to understand how all of this is working, but so far, native FIT screen is excellent ! What I have noticed, is the screen is frozen to first page when the bike is connected to the FIT APP to my phone in //. Changing screen page from the remote change the App screen page, but not the one on the bike. I have also connected my Komoot account to FIT app: great. But I still don't understand why the FIT display can't display a Map, just direction arrows are displayed... I don't fell good to have the iphone install on the handlebar

Beyond the standard information you can find online, here are my first feedback points on details that are not necessarily easy to find on the web (after 140 km):

  • The displayed range is recalculated after 100 km in a given mode, and thus becomes more accurate over time, depending on the rider’s power for the same mode.
  • An iPhone 15 Pro Max charges well via the available USB-C port.
  • The “walk mode” is effective, as the Delite automatically selects the correct gear for maximum traction. On my previous derailleur bike, you had to remember to select the smallest cog for walk mode to work.
  • The Auto gear mode proves really effective on hilly roads or flat roads interrupted by short climbs and descents (e.g., bike paths along canals with short steep inclines and declines at each lock).
  • The gear shifting noise is not annoying.
  • The bike is perfectly silent in gears 9–12, and acceptable in the other gears.
  • The belt is not affected by mud.
  • Consumption: 6 Wh/km on flat terrain, 9 Wh/km in hilly terrain with no wind

Lol I don’t know how Gears 10-12 sound , because they are almost useless for me , since they only can be used above 25kmh , when assistance is not available and I’m not strong enough to move my bike above 25 km/h in flat terrain , only downroads
I have ordered the cables to install an usb connector
I have also used the light connector to install a gps tracker for security purposes
Btw does someone know what the 7,6 means in this app view?

I started my ride today with the 800w battery loaded at 80%= 640w and finished at 33%=264w So that means a consumption of 376w
So, if the ride was 41,40 km, then the average consumption should be 9,1w/km, not 7,6 It’s a big difference
The only explanation I could give is that just before the ride I slightly changed the motor assistance parameters. But I think it was not a change significantly enough to justify the almost 20% difference between my calculation and what the bike says
Is in your case this calculation right ?

You are right — it wasn’t a screenshot of my own display, but rather an extract from the Pinion/Fit manual (likely taken from a SpeedBike / 45 km/h model). My intention was simply to highlight the difference between your screen and the one shown when the latest release is installed.

I agree with your calculation. I understand that the algorithm calculates a consumption value — and therefore an autonomy — for each selected mode, based on the last 100 kilometers ridden. So, I’m wondering whether the displayed consumption refers only to the consumption in ECO mode, and not to the entire 41.40 km. I’ll run some tests this weekend to understand it better…
 
I have done additional test today. Here is what is displayed on my screen :

The 104 km (ECO), 61 km (FLEX) and 59 km (FLY) are probably wrong since I have not done yet 100 kms under each of those respective mode. the 63 km (FLOW) seems realistics, since calculations has been based on the last 100 kms done under this mode. I will try to drive > 100 kms under eco mode in the incoming days, and see how calculation will be impacted

I think that range estimation is not realistic
I’ve been riding same 41km track for many days, doing more than 100km in flow mode At the beginning , with battery at 80% the estimation in flow is 117km
I use to ride about 90% of the track in flow , 5% in eco and 5% in flex
At the end of the ride, the remaining battery is around 30%, usually +~ the same in every ride
So I spent 50% of the battery but I rode only 35% of the estimated distance
Moreover, the estimated range at the end, with 30% of battery, is 40km. So It’s unlikely that I could repeat same distance with less battery
Weather and terrain conditions have been similar every day. Wet surface but not muddy and 10*degrees
 
For sure, something is probably wrong in the displayed estimation.

On today's trip :
- Start battery level = 100 % (800 W)
- OAT = +3°C No wind
- D+ 90 m.
- Distance 22,4 km
- Duration : 1 hour
- AVG speed : 21,6 km/h
- Off 4%, Eco 56%, Flow 39 %, Flex 1%
- End battery level = 76 % (608 W)
800-608= 192 W, 8,6Wh/km
Screen shows 6,2 Wh/km --> Same difference than yours...
The 104 km estimation displayed is therefore wrong.
May be the 63 km estimation is right in FLOW mode (based on 8,6W/h), calculation land on 71 km autonomy...
Need more test to understand how this works..
 
I think the estimated km is pretty rubbish - on my route today I had a bigger range in Flex than I did in Flow!! What's that about? I just go on battery life % now - I guess the battery can do 50km of mixed riding so one block = 10k.
 
I have linked fit app with my Komoot account , then I see my trips done and planned but I don’t know how to record a trip using fit app
Do you know if it is possible to do it ?

Really ? Have you checked mode parameters ? Maybe you have more assistance in flow than in flex ?

I've set my 4 modes so that they give 40/60/80 and 100% so they are more defined. In stock, the flow and flex were just too close together.
On the 'how to record on the app' question - I think I managed it once and then cant do again. although not sure I even did it. Like you, I just use kamoot.
Perhaps try using your phone on the app to record, it maybe on that??
 
Regarding the APP, I'm using Komoot as well. The past trips are visible in teh FIT E-bike App under saved activities. The trick is that files are not sort by dates, so you need to look at the whole list. Here is how the screen looks like
