Hi all,

I’m picking up my new large 2026 Wild M-Team Mullet tomorrow after work, and I’m wondering if anyone with the Wild M-Team or the M-Limited Edition can share some ballpark suspension settings. I have a huge time crush over the next few weeks and just want to get my bike ridable for a few quick rides. At Xmas I will have time to get it dialled but for now I Im keen to just get some riding in rather than mucking around with settings.

I'm hoping there's someone out there close to my riding weight (with full gear) of about 98 kg (216 pounds). I’ll be heading straight to the track from the bike shop as I’ve only got a limited window to ride this week of just an hour. So having some starting pressures and rebound/compression settings would save me a heap of time setting up the Fox Float X2 rear shock and 38 Float 170 Grip X2 fork.

I’ve been waiting around three and a half months for this bike to arrive and honestly can’t wait. the pic is just the MYOB mock up and docent do it justice.

I’ll post a pic once I’ve got it — I haven’t seen another one with the colour combo I chose, so I hope you enjoy.

I’m pretty keen to get out there and ride is a huge understatement.

Cheers!

I'm guessing around Brisbane its mostly XC style rather then big jumps/freeride.
why not use the recommended settings from fox? Your terrain will dictate how you ultimately setup the suspension.

I usually suggest to people, your KG weight in PSI front fork, and LBS weight in the rear shock PSI (maybe add a bit extra to compensate for the ebike weight). The most important thing is rebound not to fast or slow then dial in the compression during the ride, stock fox setting should be pretty close.

Hopefully the bike shop gets it in a state that is pretty good base BEFORE it leaves the shop!

Take your pump to set sag, dial in rebound by eye with compression on minimum, then dial in some compression - 10min tops.

Go to Fox site (example: SHOCK- 2024 FLOAT X2 | Bike Tech Help Center | FOX) put in your fork or shock owners manual… see guides for psi, damper settings, etc..

Good grief man slow down and use a bit of commonsense 😉 ..spend some time at the shop and use their experience to help you set things up ..
The time it took you to write this post and read the replies would have allowed you to pull forward some tasks from your " oh so busy" lifestyle 😂

Not everyone’s in sloth mode ☺️
Pump it to the max , comp/reb to max and send it !

That's pretty much how I do it. Open the compression, add riding weight in kilograms to the fork (+10kg for full power emtb), multiply my riding weight by 2.2 for riding weight in pounds (+10kg for emtb again) for rear shock pressure. This is the starting point for setting sag. I set my high speed and low speed rebounds according the recommendation in the manual, then go for a ride. I start adding compression (low speed first) 2 clicks at a time, until it feels harsh then I dial it back one click. I do a "drop test" to check rebound by holding the bike at waist level, then dropping it under control. If it bounces I slow the rebound down until it doesn't. If the suspension gets overwhelmed in tech sections or limits me from popping the bike over obstacles I speed the rebound up one click at a time. If I'm bottoming out too quickly, a little bottoming out isn't a bad thing, I'll add a token. Dialing in tire pressure is just as important as suspension settings IMO. The Wolftooth Tire Pressure Calculator is pretty good for that, although I find the pressures can be a little high, and it doesn't factor in tire inserts.

Don’t forget tire pressure plays big role as well… here’s a good simple tool:
