I bit the bullet and purchased the new CEF69 frame with the bafang M510 4.0 and 835wh battery.

Looks nice. I've been planning something like this myself, since I guess I'll have to give up the company bike in the near future... From where did you get this? How much? What kind of shock it accepts? Motor/battery included?

I purchased from jean at

Shenzhen Zhaosheng Carbon Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. Company Overview - Shenzhen Zhaosheng Carbon Fiber Technology Co., Ltd.

For the frame with custom paint, motor, battery and display including all wiring it came to about £1600 shipped to the UK.

In terms of shock it accepts 205 x 55-65

Only two things I'm a little nervous about, curious to hear your thoughts. I'm a pretty big person and weigh 245lb/111 kg. I saw someone point out that these frames don't have a seatstay bridge and was concerned about torsional stiffness, did you see anything about that? Also this is my first e-bike and figured the M510 would feel plenty powerful and didn't want to deal with the noise of the M560, but hoping I don't miss the extra power that motor would provide. From everything I read the M510 feels much more refined than the M560.

Awesome, I also purchased this frame with the M510 motor/835wh battery a couple days ago. Can't wait to build it up. I'm in the US. I'll share my experiences as well
Nice! What color did you go for?

I don't think you'll have any issues I done my due diligence and it seems this company has been making good quality carbon frames for some time.

And I also believe the m510 has great balance between power and efficiency

I've only had one other mid drive motor from bafang and that was the m620 which was completely overkill for my style of riding with 160nm of torque. great fun don't get me wrong but it's also super noisy which is what I have heard about the M560.

I think that the M510 will be perfect on this Frame.

Awesome, that's going to look great. Appreciate the advice on the frame quality/ M510, looks like we're on the same page. Did they give you any estimates on when your frame would ship?

They didn't but I believe on the details of the listing it states within 30 days

Is this a mullet or full 29er? Price doesn’t sound too bad. How does this Bafang compare to Bosch, for example latest gen Cx? I’ve never ridden anything else but Bosch, but I’m open for ideas.

Full 29er. This will be my first e-bike but based on what I'm reading the M510 motor is similar in power and feel to the latest gen Bosch. Bafang also has a motor called the M560 that is extremely powerful, more so than the DJI avinox, but is apparently pretty loud

As kepa said it's full 29er but I'm going to have a little play with it and see how the mullet feels it obviously changes the geometry a little

So my frame arrived and I must say I'm impressed with the paint!

I've been waiting a while and had plenty of time to get all the other components together so when it arrived I got straight to work and got this thing assembled and it's a thing of beauty!

I'm also overall impressed with the quality of the frame and the machining everything fit together seamlessly.

I may upgrade the suspension and dropper in the future to fox factory but unfortunately the fox float x2 factory I have doesn't fit as the body of the shock clashes with the top tube.

Here's a few pictures of the build.

Just stick a 5mm allen key into the bushing and rotate the stanchion through 90 degrees.
