As you can hear in the video, there is a knocking sound. I have replaced several components, including the chainring, chain, and cassette, yet the issue persists. What could be the cause? I have consulted various local bike shops, but they have been unable to diagnose the problem.
I hope you can help me with this and it’s almost a month now and still can’t ride it.
Bike: Ghost E-Riot EN Pro
Shimano 12v
Bosch Cx Line gen 4

[Solved]
The problem wasn’t in the chainring or Cassette, a worn-out spring and pawl after all due to corrosion and probably water came through while washing the bike or heavy rain.

Difficult to hear precisely over the wind noise. I’m assuming that a bike shop suspended the bike while turning the cranks and checked the usual suspects.

A loose motor bracket will create a knocking noise when under torque. And sometimes only in specific positions (ie; 3 o’clock). This can easily be overlooked or difficult to detect.

Typical for some Bosch gen4 motors.

Is it a serious problem or just need to be retighten with a torque wrench?

If caught at an early stage the bracket screws can simply be re-torqued. I would apply blue loc-tight to each screw/bolt and torque to specifications.

If there has been too much movement, in this area, the bracket screws or bracket holes may become worn. In the worst case the bracket screws could shear off from excessive movement.

Check for small micro cracks, around the main motor bolt frame, if that occurs. Those cracks may be difficult to see but may cause future issues. It’s important to not let it get to that point. A simple hand-check may not detect any movement.

A loose castle nut could cause a strange noise also but the chainring may feel loose.

I can't hear a knocking noise, just wind noise and clattering.

I had a motor bolt come loose and unwind itself until it was hitting the chainring, but I'm pretty sure that you'd have noticed that!

I also had a knocking noise suddenly start, but only on rough ground. If I got off the bike and turned the cranks etc, nothing. Eventually, after much on and offing, I narrowed it down to the headset, but only because it was coming from straight ahead... blah, blah, blah..
To cut what could be a long story short, it turned out to be the arms of my riding specs rattling on my new hearing aids! So I was getting it in stereo! :ROFLMAO:

I don't ride with my hearing aids now. Back to no birdsong in the forest! :(

Well that’s just too funny 😂. Another thing for me to consider when I get hearing aids👍🏻
