Cant get my feet comfy

Bought some DMR V8`s to go on my new toy, have them on my analogue and no issues. On the Amflow, my feet never seem in the right place, they hit the rear triangle and I get arch pain.

Now this is my first embt so maybe i'm doing more continuous peddling with less breaks and that's causing arch pain. But is the bb width narrow or the rear T wide, or is it the shorter cranks? Anyone else experienced peddle discomfort? Honestly not something I've ever considered before

Am I alone in this?

v8s are too small both in length and width unless you have small /narrow feet. It also may well be that the Amflow has a narrower Q factor...hence your feet hitting the chain stay.
As far as arch pain is concerned my personal preference is to avoid the common clip in foot position of having the ball of the foot over the pedal axle ( typical road cyclist position). I have the pedal axle a lot further back on the pedal. I also go for much larger pedals than the V8s but still with a concave platform. Whether copying any of that resolves your issue or not I dont know but its worth a try.

Thank you both, I messed up - should have bought V12, just checked my old bike and it has v12`s not v8`s. Off to the shop I go

I use Raceface Atlas...maybe check those out as well

Those look very nice but I've ridden the DMRs for 5 years on my old bike and never had an issue, so will stick to those (and they are 1/3rd the price)
