Looked a bit slippy and boggy.Last one, Video 4! How have i not ridden here before? If you're in North Wales on an Eeb, this is a must!!!
Slippy on the shiny rocks, not what i'm used to at all. Not too boggy but it was very wet off line lolLooked a bit slippy and boggy.
Not ridden there in a while. Did some races back in the day there too!A nice little linkage of trails at Tunnel Hill (Deepcut). This is army training land but is open to the public all of the time as long as you keep out of the way of them training. This trail was effectively cut in half by the railway guys setting up a works camp in the open area (after the sandy corkscrew) that meant you couldn't get into the second half of it.
The Gorrick folk used to use Tunnel Hill for races but I don't think they've used it recently. They do use Porridgepot the other side of the Basingstoke Canal still. Plus they use Highlands Farm (Area 51) which is really part of Tunnel Hill but is sort of their own land. Tunnel Hill, Highlands, Porridgepot and Minley (another Gorrick race venue) are my regular haunts. Oh, and occasionally Swinley Forest. Not ridden there in a while. Did some races back in the day there too!
I only recognise the last 2 runs! I must have been missing out a LOT of Gwydr Maw! didn't see the huge slab with the skull and cross bones sign? (n.b. I go round the slab) absolutely love that place - the start section at the car park was closed earlier in the year, but I don't think you were going up for the first 16 minutes of footage... hmmLast one, Video 4! I think I would still do the full loop, however tempted I would be to do the short loop.I only recognise the last 2 runs! that's probably what's happened. the start and a run or two were closed, we ended up doing the top couple of reds about 10 times in the week going round in circles...I think I would still do the full loop, however tempted I would be to do the short loop.
Get in touch if you're over my way. Happy to recommend or meet up.... cheersMaybe i'll tap you up for a guide round, I used to be a SC racer so doing the Gorrick venues was a treat.
Ride a lot of Surrey but am based in Essex, it's flat, hence why i'm always travelling.
Wow! Fun ride with a great video! ThanX! Had me smiling! This is my first attempt at creating a mini video of a weekend riding with the mrs , and not that type of riding calm down lads ?
Hope you enjoy
It’s filmed on a GoPro hero7
And the software used to create it was Filmora cheap and cheerful at £40 for the year
I did have to purchase a sound track separately copyright free to upload to YouTube
Hope this helps people to get out there and start filming.
It’s would be great to see what others have created and post here.
Keep riding and keep smiling ?????
is it just youtube people are posting vids up on?
is it the best?
any other options worth considering?
ideally free and simple ;D
Cool, will give it a go. TaVimeo is an alternative, or ticky tok but yeah the original and best is YouTube
those Gaps are 'king massive in my book! Here is my footage, basically because of riding e-bike and "on trail time" I finally progressed doing some biger gaps - of course camera does not justify it. They are not huge, but decent size - would say 4 meters (one river gap, and the other canon gap) - Propain Ekano 2
ah bugger. looks like I need to change summat! Thanks
