Have ~400 miles on my G4 Sworks. Does anyone have constant ghost shifting in the third gear from the top? Just started happening to me. Micro adjust will not fix. Happens in the stand and while riding with weight on it. My lbs has tried switching out all rear components yet can not figure out what is causing it. Swapped rear wheel, derailleur, new chain,, new cassette and it still is happening. Reset software on rear AXS derailleur and it still happens. Any ideas/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No 1: How old are your cables? (Edit: just spotted "only 400 miles", but why all that new kit after only 400 miles?)
They get stickier as grime builds up and or lube goes hard, whatever. Many shifting problems are fixed by new cables.

No 2: Have you checked the mech hanger alignment? These are designed to fail, so they can get a knock and bend slightly. Not enough to see, but enough to affect the shifting. If you don't have a mech hanger gauge & alignment tool (one tool does both), then get your LBS to do it. However, I'd be surprised that they sold you all that new kit to solve your problem before checking the mech hanger alignment. It is quick and easy to do; remove the mech from the hanger, but it stays on the chain, just drop the chain off the ring to give you some working room. After three trips to the LBS for intractable shifting problems only to be told each time that it was the mech hanger alignment, I bought my own tool. Never regretted it.

Thanks but this is an S-works with T-Type Transmission full electronic shifting.

I am showing my lack of knowledge on the latest tech. Does Sram T-type mean that the mech hanger cannot bend? Or that if it does bend, the electronic shifting corrects?

SRAM's T-Type (Eagle Transmission) systems eliminate the need for a traditional derailleur hanger by mounting the derailleur directly to the frame via a "Full Mount" interface that surrounds the rear axle.

So when you get a severe knock you lose the mech, or it gets damaged? Is your mech bent?
I know from personal experience that mechs don't have to be very bent (hardly at all, in fact) to manifest a range of shifting problems. But you have had a new mech fitted, so it can't be that. Maybe it is more fundamental that that.

All the likely suspects have been ruled out. either by the dealer swapping suspect parts for new, or by you asserting that the T-type transmission rules out other likely suspects. So as Sherlock Holmes nearly said, if you have ruled out all the likely suspects, then it must be an unlikely suspect!"

You have only done 400 miles. Have you crashed the bike? Has the ghost shifting been with you since new? Is the rear triangle actually set up properly? Your Speccy dealer should have gauges to check.

Have you checked the chain tension? I've noticed that, in some cases, the tensioner tends to move forward, causing the chain to become slack. The correct way to check it is by placing the chain on the cassette at the red mark and checking the tension at that point, making any necessary adjustments.

As said above, check chain tension hasn't changed and that derailleur hasn't moved out of alignment. There are alignment tick marks in the back of the derailleur.

Replaced the chain and replaced the derailleur, still does it. Going to try replacing the pieces the Derailleur uses to attach to the rear triangle.

As mentioned above ... check the cage, in fact you will need re place it soon anyways ... so go purchase a GX cage and put it on and see it it solves the problem... It did for me... if not you have a spare for when you do bend it ....and you will... it is so close to the ground and vulnerable.

The body is fixed to the frame .... the low hanging cage has nowhere to go but bend.
Wish there was a tool to realign it instead of purchasing a whole new cage and wheels.

If you changed the derailleur then the problem should be sorted. Unless the frame is not aligned?
